    I worked at Convergys full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    On the job training for a broad spectrum of customer and technical types, generally several different roles to learn into. HR/Upper management on site is supportive and works to retain talent affected by scaling.

    Cons

    Advancement with smaller teams was almost non-existent. Grooming was talked about but rarely executed. Weekends and late nights are almost always a requirement.

    Advice to Management

    Need to be more competitive wage wise in the BPO market. A lot of very talented people I worked with learned some great skills and moved on to better-paying jobs doing almost the same thing.

    Internal opportunities are good for hark working people

    You should not expect to get any appreciations, should work like robot always. There will be minimal team building activities, rather they will keep push you to more sales

    if you know how to sell. commission can be grate. awesome co-workers. and starting pay is grate if you absolutely need a job.

    Cons

    if u dont sell u get fired. NO RAISE IN PAY EVEN AFTER 2 YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT. management has no understanding of things happen during life. MANAGEMENT DOES NOT ALWAYS "KEEP THERE SIDE OF THE DEAL OR KEEP THERE WORD." PAYCHECKS ARE NOT EVER CORRECT WHEN IT COMES TO HOURLY PAY AND YOUR COMMISSION!

    Advice to Management

    able to move up after 6 months to help out the team your on. but that's not to run your own team. once your the helper it takes ANOTHER 6 months to get to where u can POSSIBLY run your own team. management does not keep there word.

    Pros

    This is a great place to get call center experience. The hiring process is easy. As long as you come to work and follow the the rules you can keep your job.

    Cons

    Team Leader are unprofessional. They do a lot of standing around and talking and having loud conversations with each other and other employees.
