    Pros

    Good job, they do a great job of training you on their systems before you go on the call room floor, support once you get on the call floor.

    Cons

    Some of corporate quotas are ridiculous! You are forced to do transfer offers that really have nothing to do with the call, then you threatened to do them or get fired.

    Advice to Management

    Don't have the Team Leaders play obvious favorites.

    I worked at Convergys part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    This place was not a bad place to work. It is a great job for college students. The job is simple for the most part. Very friendly staff as well

    Cons

    The job can get boring after some time. My biggest issue was during training we were informed of the project we would be working on for a while to get use to the job and after my first week I was already moved to a new project when I was not ready. The hours are kinda crappy and having to work at least one weekend shift was crappy too. Another thing I did not like was how they wanted to handle some things. The point of this job is to be a third party surveyor for a business, so you conduct interviews about peoples experience with whatever business you are working on, and some of the people you call think you are working for the business when that is not the case and so these clients think you have the power to make changes that you can not, so if Convergys could find another way to avoid people thinking you work for the business, that would be helpful, and my last con I can think of is there really is no advancement opportunities.

    Advice to Management

    Be more honest about how quickly you move people onto new projects.

    Good PTO to start out with, opportunity to develop if self motivated, promotions from within most of the time

    Cons

    Favoritism, leadership at site level does not always follow policy to inforce company standards. Prejudgement with no varification of facts.
