    Pros

    It was a clean place. Never felt unwelcome. Interview process went well. Great training. Management was good and recognized when you were doing well.

    Cons

    Cafeteria could use a little upgrade. Felt like a school cafeteria.

    Flexible times, 4 weeks of training

    Cons

    Everything else: laid off, terrible computers with low pay

    Advice to Management

    Better pay for dealing with the people's billing and getting yelled at.

    I worked at Convergys full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    There really aren't any. It paid the bills. That's the only good thing about Convergys.

    Cons

    No change of advancement. No pay raise in 18 months. Unwilling to work with health or family emergencies.
    Management doesn't follow their own rules. Erratic schedule changes with zero warning. No real commission for sales you're hounded to get every single day ($5 a sale...) The hiring team completely lied about everything from flexible hours, to compensation, to allotted break time.

    Advice to Management

    Get it together.
    Stop promising advancement and raises when you aren't actually going to give them out.
    Respect that your employees are people with real feelings, real needs, and real stuff going on outside of work.
    Pay your employees for the job they do.
    Follow your own stupid rules or don't have them.

    Shady management pays nothing for sales yet expects you to bust your hump and sell your soul to make a sale

    Pay your workers more and actually appreciate your workers people are beings with feelings not numbers

    Pros

    Paid vacations even on part time. Monthly performance bonuses making part time pay equal to full time pay. 12 point attendance program and unpaid time off.

    Cons

    Coming out of training and onto the floor is a serious shock. It's a learn as you go job and you feel seriously uninformed at first.

    Advice to Management

    Management is wonderful there. They are really interested in and care about their employees. They are up front and try to help improve the employees.

    Pros

    Fun atmosphere working at home...you know what to expect

    Cons

    Hours die off at random....lots of missc-communication for at home workers...information changes are not always communicated effectivly

    Advice to Management

    Give out information in a timely manor and give everyone the same training...re-train people who give wrong information out on purpose just to move to the next call.

    Perks. Free TV for DirecTV Account. Tuition reimbursement, and I worked from home.

    Cons

    Being on the phone can be trying. Very strict on time and when busy no breaks between calls.
