      Co-workers, benefits, employee discounts, easy day to day work, freedom of expression, bonuses, holiday pay

      Pros

      Management has been amazing in many ways. They're very patient and nice when it comes to new employees. Very accommodating in scheduling. Overall just nice. Staff as a whole is incredibly welcoming and supportive. Everyone is there to do their job to the best of their ability and help each other out when possible. Employee discounts are amazing

      Pay is okay but can be better Customers can be flat out rude often but it does toughen your skin once you get used to it

      Pros

      Employee discount is good since it can also be used at Nike and Hurley. The associates you work with are all awesome and make the environment tolerable.

      Cons

      Management doesn't know what they're doing. They don't know the difference between being an actual leader and making demands. There's no growth within the store. They hire people outside the company who know less of what they're doing than the leaders already in charge. Management team try too hard on being secretive instead of allowing their associates to know what is going on/expected of them. You're not allowed to be friends with your co-workers for whatever reason and they'll do whatever it takes to make that happen.

      Pros

      You work with really awesome associates. Nike owns Converse so you get a really good employee discount at both establishments, as well as "free" staff dress.

      Cons

      Management didn't know how to manage. You were constantly told not to be friendly with co workers inside or outside of work, so you had to hide being friends. There was no mobility within the company, they were constantly hiring from the outside for all positions. Also, corporate is so out of touch with their product and demographic its no wonder the brand had to close a lot of stores, leaving us unemployed.

      Pros

      Opportunities to grow within the company ie Nike, Hurley and other Converse stores. Great employee discount 40% in store 40% online and 30% at Nike stores and access to the Nike company store.

      Cons

      Small volume and small market store so weekdays are very slow usually. Small store means weekends are very cramped and hard to keep the store clean.
