I worked at Converseon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Interesting work. Technology and insights. Tight team and good people. Great clients.

    Cons

Company in transition from more traditional agency work to more technology. Data scientists and less qualitative people. If you're looking for more traditional digital agency work (like me) it's not the place. Can be resource constrained.

    Advice to Management

Improve HR to show people career path.

    I worked at Converseon full-time

Smart group of people doing very interesting things. Great clients. Lots of freedom to excel.

    Cons

Not many start-up perks. Focus is on the work and experience.

    Advice to Management

Great clients continue to attract great talent, and vice versa.

I worked at Converseon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible work schedule.

    Nice coworkers.

Good place to start getting job experience but not a place you can realistically work that long.

    Cons

Management is god awful and really consists of only 2 key fairly incompetent people.

    Cannot retain employees.

    Growth very limited.

    Advice to Management

    Get some real leadership skills.

"Disorganized company, but very beneficial for being right out of school"

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Experience working with big brands and doing creative research. Also, visibility and opportunity to work on big projects due to small size of company (~40 people).

    Cons

Exec suite was extremely disorganized, which led to an employee base that was unexperienced, with just a few people making up for the rest of the team. Employee benefits were nothing special. Worked a lot of overtime with no bonuses.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of your employees. Pay them better wages, invest in their education, and don't take on projects that require high levels of experience unless you're willing to stop only hiring newbies for their cheap labor.

    Pros

Opportunity to show your work and to grow. A really good leader below the CEO.

    Cons

Some managers between analysts and high management are entitled to some decisions that they are not ready for - systematic business understanding lack of experience.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

I worked at Converseon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Small team but big clients. There is little hierarchy and many opportunities to be impactful if you are proactive.

    Cons

Senior Leadership. Payscale extremely low compared to competitors, raises are usually only in increments of 2k each.

    Advice to Management

You lose a lot of good talent because you're unwilling to pay

Smart employees, super hard working and it's a great place to learn a ton and meet great people. Great clients, great managers. Few limitations..

    Cons

It can be a lot of responsibility for not always fair compensation, but with responsibility comes the opportunity.
