    Pros

Great product in its infancy. Small enough to be nimble and large enough to invest in the growth

    Cons

None as of now. Company is moving in the right direction

    Advice to Management

Push the pedal to the floor!

I have been working at Conversica full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Happy, positive office environment. Everyone gets along, helps each other out, and I look forward to coming into work every day.
    - The product has a lot of potential. It gets great results for our customers, has no direct competition, and is in at the right time. It is exciting to be apart of a company that could be very successful and disruptive. It is simple enough to sell.
    - The tower has a nice free gym/locker rooms, plenty of parking, and is a ~100 ft. walk from Safeway, CVS, GreatClips, Costco, dry cleaning, and more for convenience. You get nice views from the 12th floor of the tower.
    - Catering three times per week and a well stocked kitchen.
    - Standing desks.
    - There is a lot of growth to come, which creates opportunities to move up into bigger roles (mobility). It is good timing to get in now, before those roles are created.

    Cons

    - There are always challenges with selling something 'new' to customers. We are still figuring out the best way to position the product, who to target, etc.
    - The company does not offer stock options yet.
    - There could be more of a start-up fun factor through more company events, etc.
    - Foster City is accessible, but a commute for SF, SJ, East Bay folks. The tower is not walking distance from the train.

    Advice to Management

I believe the new management team has the company headed in a positive direction.

    Pros

Read majority of other reviews and you'll see the pros. Office culture is great, great employees, great benefits, etc.

    Cons

Management takes too much control and care to hide the "greater goal" behind the task at hand. Very hard to get a raise or to move up in the company.

    Advice to Management

Look for hard workers because they are there. Reward them, instead of them having to ask to be rewarded.

I worked at Conversica full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Progressive software for dealerships assisting them with the biggest issue that exists in a dealership Follow up. The product is great and the people that are there now are great

    Cons

no true track to move up or forward. Upper Mangement brings in their friends from previous companies as soon as a position opens. If you are well liked by mangement they will leave you alone if not be prepared to be called out and not taken to trade shows .
expenses are paid very slowly which is annoying

    Advice to Management

give your staff opportunity to move up and forward. great staff comes from within not hiring bs "friends" that ruin the awesome culture you guys have created

I have been working at Conversica full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Cutting edge product, the atmosphere of teamwork among the sales team and managers makes this a great place to work. Customers love the product after buying and recommend me to other dealers. Company is growing like crazy and earlier this year they actually increased the commission plan. Normally a pay change is the other way. I like the vacation policy of take as you need rather than a set amount.

    Cons

We need to get our field people together more often and have fun together.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing, the monthly call from our CEO is a great step in keeping us out here in the field aware. The management changes in the past 8 months have really helped the morale of the company!

    Pros

Conversica is a great product that is only going to get better. The technology behind it is amazing and industry leading. Definitely a product the customer can utilize if presented in the right way.

    Cons

The commission structure seemed to change on a monthly basis, making it difficult or impossible to hit plan numbers.

I have been working at Conversica full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Sales process is pretty easy and straightforward. Lots of excitement around the product and niche. Work with a dynamic team of sales professionals, new entrants into the workforce, and knowledgeable leadership team when it comes to sales. Enjoy coming to work everyday and closing deals that pay out.

    Cons

Company seems to take a short-term vision when it comes to tools. Mostly reactive and tries to do everything in house when best in class products already exist. This can create barriers to helping the customer buy. For example, order processing is archaic and not up to the turn of the century i.e. manual process.

    Advice to Management

Invest in tools. Stop attempting to build everything in-house. Time wasted developing something already created by other companies is money wasted. Invest in tools that are best in class. Stop bootstrapping what is really needed. Build a vision for why we exist and it will attract customers instantly.
