I worked at Cooley Group (More than a year)

    Pros

    Small company, good HR Manager.

    Cons

Minimal training, no climate control, dishonest to customers and employees.

    Advice to Management

Stop lying to your customers and sending them bad material, hoping they won't notice, then placing the blame on your employees when your customers complain.

I have been working at Cooley Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, small company, awesome co/workers on manufacturing level, potential

    Cons

Rude and disrespectful upper management, poor to no training, no ethics, good ol'boy culture, no organization at all, no SOPs, hardly anything is documented for working purposes, make up rules as they go, expect accountability from employees but not management, demanding more from employees and give less

    Advice to Management

Respect for employees in general, provide proper training and give feedback, work on boosting moral and providing an ethical culture

I have been working at Cooley Group full-time

    Pros

As with any organization, there are hardworking, good to the soul individuals working at Cooley. They get little recognition and they hold the company together.

    Cons

Senior Management lacks meaningful and sustainable structure. Nepotism is crippling this company. Their HR Dept needs a total sweep, as they do not understand their purpose. Senior Management is good at the veneer, not strong under the surface. In real need of leadership training in all departments.

    Advice to Management

Hire a CEO who has integrity, and retrain all senior management in organizational mgmt., then fix your IT dept. Develop a corporate structure that is demonstrable. Create an open dialog for reviewing Senior staff effectiveness.

    Pros

    It's a job and provides a paycheck.

    Cons

Worked 6-7 days /week, 10-12 hours a day. Absolutley no appreciation for effort from Management. This company goes through exempt individuals, including Sr. Management very quickly. I would negotiate for extra consideration and have my next career step in mind before I went to work for these folks. The most unethical company I have ever worked for!

    Advice to Management

Instead of blaiming the exempt folks you get rid of, consider that the problem might instead rest with the Sr. Management that are constantly changing focus and just using and mis-using people.
