I have been working at Cooper Industries full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Tons of hours and plenty of money. Definitely paid pretty decent.

    Cons

No time for a life. And unless you brownose your way around and get in good you'll never be picked for better jobs. If your great at your job then you'll never get away from it. Smart but a hinder to personal growth.

    Advice to Management

I can only say there are some really awesome people there that do a great job and then there are a bunch pompous fools that are completely out of touch with reality and have zero people skills.

I have been working at Cooper Industries full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits now such as subsidiary of EATON. Before they were just okay.

    Cons

Lack of opportunity in some sectors. Some people get comfortable in their positons, don't perform and management don't know the work "development", they don't know how to drive people, managers without management background. They don't care about good and hard workers. Salary is not as good for the size of the company.

    Advice to Management

Don't be too shy and be more active for your people. Make a group, built a team, have more contact with the individuals and they will perform better. Think out of the box, be a wolf and not a sheep.
