I worked at Cooper Tire & Rubber full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Some good people at the work level

    Cons

Poor management, period. They preach continual learning and that a key principal is the ability to listen, but that is not the case. The company can be extremely close minded

I worked at Cooper Tire & Rubber

    Pros

Findlay is a cheap place to live and pay is decent in corporate

    Cons

Poor middle and upper management Back stabbing is rampant, managers are ready to throw you under the bus IT has been totally outsourced and it is sad to see the company not spend anything to develop their own people which takes me to my subject line - The company is a sinking ship, doing poorly year in year out Employee morale is very low Turnover at this company is more than the local walmart/mcdonalds Findlay is affordable but not a good place to raise a family

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Cooper Tire & Rubber full-time

    Pros

If there were any I didn't see them

    Cons

Aggressive managers, they will make you work many weeks end and nights. Expect many 16 hour days. Don't believe a word from HR they are incompetent and have the company's best interest at heart and not yours. Tech is outdated, upper management is disorganized

I worked at Cooper Tire & Rubber full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Pay is ok at best, and the rotating schedule is nice but that's it.

    Cons

Working conditions are very poor and extremely dangerous. Coworkers are constantly trying to get someone fired like its some kind of game to them. Supervisors show heavy favouritism and your career there depends on how much rear end you are willing to kiss.
