    Pros

    Good health insurance and benefits!

    Cons

The some of the people are nasty and like to take short cuts on their work and it puts the whole hospital at risk!

    Advice to Management

Enforce the rules for infection control because some people think it's ok to put others at risk of catching the germs and infections that come from people that are ill!

I worked at Cooper University Health Care full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great healthcare benefits and paid time off

    Cons

Company is focused more on numbers, ratings and money the company can make, rather than the employees. Work atmosphere can be like high school at times with catty like behavior, cliques and those that smile in your face but talk about you behind your back. Managers tend to have their favorites and look out for them while others are left working their butts off to do the job the office golden children won't do

    Advice to Management

Take the time to care about the employees, giving them better career opportunities and having their back versus stabbing them in it. Numbers aren't everything. Appreciate the hardworking staff that supports you. Stand up for them, encourage them, give more position opportunities to be in higher positions. Stop having favorites and treat all employees equally. Otherwise Karma is going to smack you in the face eventually.

    Cons

    Constantly understaffed
    Management does not address concerns
Mandated to work more weekends than required

    Advice to Management

Turnover is very high, many brand new nurses on the floor. Nothing done to address employee complaints or increase morale. Patient load is frequently more than is safe.
