    Pros

Free wine tasting, 50% off food

    Cons

Hiring too many hosts. Keep a certain amount especially those who are good at their job

    Advice to Management

Stop over hiring please! That cuts down hours and takes away from other employees

I worked at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Put in some effort and can move up from within. Great tips and staff. Management is understanding and will work with your schedule.

    Cons

Runs with a lot of servers during weekends, however, it's a large restaurant. Not so great job at cutting the floor, but it's getting better.

I have been working at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work can be fun if the customers are friendly.

    Cons

They don't care at all about their employees. I mentioned that they should be offering tasting room associates breaks during the day. The general manger replied back that breaks aren't required for employees who work less than 8 hours. Not only is this not true, it is extremely disrespectful. If you cared about your employees you would want them to comfortable on the job.

    I worked at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants part-time

    Pros

Very flexible, great incentives, passionate founder, and great product (food & wine). Customers are very loyal to the brand, so it makes most of the FOH jobs pretty easy. Like every serving job, you're attitude makes or breaks you; so if you're a good server, you'll make excellent money here.

    Cons

Lack of management to direct staff and satisfy customer needs. Also, unable to compensate hourly roles/middle management fairly for the work demanded of them, therefore unable to retain good supervisors/ assistant managers, house workers, etc.

    Advice to Management

You need to offer competitive compensation in order to attain, promote, and/or retain exceptional staff or standards are going to continue to go down, diminishing the brand. Its like they say "you can't have champagne taste on a beer budget" ;)
