    I worked at Copart full-time

    Pros

The people I worked with were amazing and very understanding when family issues arose.

    Cons

Individuals with no IT background were put in charge of some IT related projects which started to damage the integrity of the team and application.

    Advice to Management

When designing an application, the individuals entrusted to create and mold that application should be as concerned with the integrity of the application as they are the usability and should generally have some concept of how software development works.

I worked at Copart as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

A good working environment and friendly relationships between team members. Definitely, a good company to gain knowledge for a starter like me.

    Cons

I didn't see much coordination and friendship between some teams. I guess there are group-isms inside the company, which is definitely not a good sign for the company.

    Advice to Management

There is nothing much to advice the Management and the higher authorities like CEO and CTO are awesome people as far as I know.

I worked at Copart full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Fast Paced
Great environment to learn and grow if you are just starting.

    Cons

Life in most facilities are super stressful, because the company operates on a tight staffing model.
Management pays lip service to valuing its employees.
Disconnect between corporate management and field operations.
Scapegoating of field operation managers when things don't go as planned.

    Advice to Management

As the company has grown, you have lost touch with the field. There seems to be more of an effort at patting each other on the back at Corporate than there is at "Celebrating your people". Most of what is done these days seems to be efforts at placating and keeping the masses quiet. Go around your RM's and reconnect with your facility managers; not just GM's, but all level of staff. RM's have too much power and they will destroy your business.
