    Advice to Management

Any good employer should keep its employees happy and fully aware of their salaries and understand that certain people are working harder than others so they can keep track of who needs to get a raise

I have been working at Copper Mobile full-time

    Pros

The sr. devs are awesome , its very collaborative , open office space good people and a very good work life balance .

    Cons

Not that many overall its a really good place , upper management is very nice . One issue is the off shore team they dont really have the technical fortitude that they do in the US .

    Advice to Management

Clean the kitchen up a bit and communicate more about the company direction to the employees.

I worked at Copper Mobile full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It was an awesome platform for me to start with, great learning experience. However after the initial app bubble burst the company has moved more towards a Consulting module for larger companies. I think it was a necessity for the company to sustain its revenue.

    Cons

Getting paid on time was a tough ask, and it is a persistent problem. Since most of its employees are at client location there is less interaction and hence lack of communication, the company needs to improve on this. Also need to treat your employees better.

    Advice to Management

Well, have no idea. Try to get some good projects and deliver quality products. Quality will attract more customers.

I have been working at Copper Mobile full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-Highly inspiring leadership team and managers
-Very good processes, they give you a training on "CM Methodology" right after you join, kind of the southwest airlines model, where even as a developer they want you know what are the roles of various people in the company
-Honest & authentic communication internally and with customers
-transparent operationally, there are no secrets on what rate the SOW has for developers, how much the project margin is etc.. very inclusive in communication
    -growing very fast

    Cons

-even though we have this big booklet of processes, there are times when the process is not followed and we just get reasons for why it is not done
-I was assigned to a project where despite the process, there were steps that were missed, like no-documentation etc..

    Advice to Management

It is time to scale the company, stay true to your dream of building the largest enterprise mobile development company. Keep it up.

I have been working at Copper Mobile full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good office environment
    Easy access to the manegement
    Fun atmosphere

    Cons

There are some new cool clients that you can get to work with and your satisfaction and experience completely depends on the client project and your team lead.
Benefits are just okay, specially healthcare for family is expensive, individuals is great.

    Advice to Management

Now that the company has grown a lot, can we look at providing better benefits?
