    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Coram full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Salary - everything else is awful especially the female management individuals.

    Cons

Management is a joke. The sales individuals are overworked and management is not listening. There is no tolerance in this company.

    Advice to Management

To upper management: please hire people who have advanced degrees as well as years under their belts. Managers should not be 30 years or younger nor should they lack actual life experience.

    Advice to Management

Learn the job. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Stop looking for ways to fire people cause they know more then you.

    Pros

benefits are very good because it is cvs.

    Cons

Not a good place to work as a professional. All the good strong pharmacist left due to management abuse

    Advice to Management

Need to do a major over haul and get competent professionals. The worst I have experienced in my 20 years as a pharmacist.

    I worked at Coram full-time

    Pros

The benefits are pretty decent. You get a CVS discount too.

    Cons

Training for the PAR position is bad. Really bad. With the amount of work you have to do, the training is skimp. You’re literally babysitting for the sales people and the pharmacist. I’m sorry but sitting and watching an already overworked PAR for training is just not going to cut it. Not with the amount of work that is piled onto you. Then when they throw you to the wolves, when you ask for help, or have a question,...

    Advice to Management

Get better training! Stop piling all the work on the PARs. It’s getting to them.

I worked at Coram full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Most co-workers were hard working, team players, made work enjoyable. Overtime was great and benefits were good.

      Cons

Poor cooperate decisions to save money. Laid off people, added more work to current employees. Some management not clinical so had no clue how to operate the business. Systems were unbearable to deal with: No money put into good quality health care based systems to enhance; patient care turnaround time, adjudication of claims completely missing, not working properly (daily). Caused more stress on employees rather than...

      Advice to Management

Cheap is not always better, actually worse in the long - run. Great employees leave because it becomes unbearable with the poor management (corporate) choices made. Put patient care at the top of your list, not numbers and money-driven goals. Care for your employees and their struggles with the multiple daily changes that occur, do not shun them for voicing opinions of the impact these choices have had upon them.
