    I worked at Core Logic

    Pros

The Dallas Campus is very nice. They have an online learning program where you can refine a lot of technical skills

    Cons

Path to on boarding as a full time employee is tough. Couldn't take a lot of real world experience away from the internship.

I worked at Core Logic for more than a year

    Pros

    Casual work environment, office setting

    Cons

Terrible, uncoordinated, peer based training for a highly knowledge based job that most people couldn't grasp due to the lack of a streamlined training program. The place chews up temps and spits them out like nothing because of this.

I have been working at Core Logic full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Good Vacation time

    Cons

Lots of layoffs of which I am a recipient of the latest. Out of my year and half or so their have been many layoffs (guessing at least 6 separate groups). Don't let them fool you and say they are done. Almost all of development personnel are Indian on visa's (I believe) or offshore. That's what I'm being replaced with. My group is being contracted out to an Indian company which will only have a few token positions available compared to the number of people let go. I have zero problems with Indians. I think one (a friend) should be manager but she's being laid off too. Upper management seems to have no understanding of simple SDL. All of Development was under a really bad Manager who blamed everyone else for the software issues. I personally believe most of the issues did stem from him. Also, I've never been treated worse by developers ever before. Again I believe that came straight down from him. They also seem to have zero respect for experience as they've laid off almost all of the original developers, support and QA; as they are doing again now.

    Pros

Good people to work with. People knowledgeable. Good benefits. Able to take time off if enough notice. Learned a lot from company.

    Cons

Started to export work to other countries. Lost hours. No longer an employee but a number. If complained could lose your job. Not flexible when employee had to have time off.

I have been working at Core Logic

    Pros

Once you get the hang of things you will be ok. Management tries to be open with employees and build moral. Consistent work. You can move around if you ask and are cool enough with management. As long as you stay consistent you have a job.

    Cons

Takes about a year to go from Temp to full-time.
