I have been working at Cornerstone Brands full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everything. Great pay 14.50 hr nights incentive pay every night. Great coworkers. Excellent supervisor. Multiple discounts including reds&coney island tickets. Plenty of PTO floating holidays.

    Cons

Team Leader can be overwhelmed at times, becoming aggressive with words over radio. Cheap on holiday bonuses, not very helpful with dinners for third shift no extra time for lunch on these.

    Advice to Management

    No advice needed very happy

I worked at Cornerstone Brands full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Quickly advance within the company
Good benefits retirement account, health, dental, vision, life, buy in program for company stock twice a year.
Most supervisors are excellent and will listen to your concerns
Discounts with HSN and with the brands handled by the company
Kept well informed about what is happening within the company
All phone employees have a little leeway to appease customers depending on department you may have more than others
Excellent 4 week training (at least when I started) for order entry - CSS1
Pay is good depending on department ($11/hr starting for CSS1 when I left)
Various departments have pot luck lunches or pizza catered from the on-site cafeteria.

    Cons

Certain supervisors are rather dense and need things explained multiple times
If you are working a project that requires supervisor action there are certain supervisors where if you do not keep pressing for results and information you will not be provided with updates.
On occasion some of the higher phone departments may switch supervisors and the new supervisor may not be familiar or have been trained in the department they are now managing which can lead to confusion on what is and isn't tracked and what employees can or can't do within their guidelines.
Training for Customer Service - CSS2 - should be longer and more indepth (at least based on when I was trained in it)
There is a little confusion on when CSS2's should take over calls and when CSS2's need to escalate calls to other departments such as Drop Ship or Traffic
They are rather cheap on their holiday bonuses only giving employees $50 gift card for 2016 it was a Kroger gift card, for 2015 a Honey Baked Ham gift card

    Pros

Great company to work for. The benefits and pay are comparable to other warehouse around the area.

    Cons

Hours can be a bit spiratic at time, but if you get on at an of site warehouse you stay realatively busy year round.

    Advice to Management

There is a need for a Management training program for all levels of management from team leads up to Supervisors.
