I have been working at Cornerstone Family Healthcare full-time

    Pros

Great leadership and support, truly patient centered, excellent providers

    Cons

Very attached to a clock in/clock out culture and while needed to maintain structure they could manage productivity rather than time, particularly for salaried employees.

    Advice to Management

    Maintain flexibility

I worked at Cornerstone Family Healthcare full-time

    Pros

Growing health center in the region with increasing opportunities. Cutting edge leadership positioning the organization for viability and sustainability. Work life balance is promoted from leadership throughout the organization.

    Cons

Favoritism, promotion and position for family members of leadership who may not qualify in skill set. Salaries are are low and not competitive. Providers are not held accountable as are other staff.

I worked at Cornerstone Family Healthcare full-time

    Pros

Time off and great benefit options

    Cons

Horrible upper management, favoritism decides if you grow in the company, no checks and balances in the company

    Advice to Management

Stop micromanaging your employees. It's a waste of time and makes for an unpleasant workplace. My timecard on ADP was changed which shorted me overtime pay that I rightfully deserved. It bothered me that I got paid less than what I should have earned and there was zero checks and balances in place to protect me and other employees. The CEO hasn't done a thing about upper management despite complaints from employees and these reviews. No problems are ever addressed at this company; rather, they are completely ignored. The only way you can avoid this unpleasant place is to just not work here. Remove the CEO and replace her with someone who cares about ALL employees. Right now this company is run by her friends and family that clearly aren't fit for upper management. They promote their friends who may not be fit for the job either and they don't receive training either. What a mess!

I have been working at Cornerstone Family Healthcare (More than a year)

    Pros

Salaries are decent, benefits are good.

    Cons

Favoritism is rampant with certain staff members and management; the same rules regarding time, attendance and appearance do not uniformly apply to everyone. Management is top heavy, most are not duly qualified as managers and are appointed based on clinical titles rather than leadership qualities. Favored employees receive overtime hours with frequency while other newer employees are chastised. "Do as I say, not as I do" mentality seems to rule management decisions.

    Advice to Management

Whatever policies are implemented should be adhered to by everyone, not just those who believe they've earned their "dues" and are exempt from Cornerstone regulations. When issues arise, address them rather than sending intradepartmental emails condemning the whistleblowers. Clinical expertise does not equal managerial competency. Acknowledge the problems, get rid of the "deadwood" and make this company and employee attitudes positive again.

I have been working at Cornerstone Family Healthcare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay is decent. Vacation time is good. Computer systems are decent and not too slow. Place is relatively clean and the have security guards. Greatly needed!

    Cons

If you are not related to Linda Muller you have little chance of success. Those who are related or have a "special" relationship with her are untouchable. Even when they impregnate a few co-workers. Too many to list. Mainly unqualified management without college or ability to make appropriate decisions. Too many people trying to make decisions about things they know nothing about

    Advice to Management

Nepotism is not a business plan. Try again

Create a panel with general workers and allow them to talk to management and create policies and incentives for workers.
