I worked at Cornerstone Healthcare Group full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The nurse practitioner, Nima, is keeping the place afloat.

    Cons

Employees are expected to meet unrealistic expectations for many reasons. Understaffing to the point of being dangerous, inappropriate patients given the skills of most of the staff and management, poor morale, daily threats of being fired or replaced, running out of crucial supplies are just a few things wrong with this company. The corporate offices don't care at all about patient care. They don't care how skilled their staff is. I was there just over a decade. When I started, it was THE place to work. The building was full (60+ patients)most of the time. 13 administrators later they can't consistently keep 25 patients! The building is full of mold that has been ignored. The life support equipment is antiquated.

    Advice to Management

Focus on your patients! Worry more about hiring the best clinical staff and keep them happy. THAT will bring in patients. Patients are more concerned that they receive good care than the fact that clocks on the wall might look tacky. Invest in your staff and the doctors will refer their patients to you.
