I have been working at Corporate Brokers full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people I worked with were honest and up front with me unlike other staffing companies I've dealt with.

    Cons

Low salary, virtually no benefits, no real incentive to stay.

    Advice to Management

I don't really have any. They're obviosly making their money off of people like me so good for them.

I have been working at Corporate Brokers full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - leadership is extremely proactive with mentoring newer employees
    - autonomy in day to day responsibilities (after training)
    - great earning potential: business development positions can include base pay, uncapped salary, yearly bonuses, company phone/car/card.
    - you are joining a company that is becoming increasingly successful and new opportunities available on a weekly basis
    - emphasis on enjoying your job and having fun in the work place
    - leadership is open about changes in the company and conduct monthly company conference calls to discuss various topics
    - great opportunity to work in a booming industry and gain business development knowledge
    - the owners invest a lot of the money back into the company and believe in sharing the wealth.

    Cons

    - the job can take up a lot of your time, but no one ever lies about it. this is also an industry standard in when working at a staffing agency. what you put in is what you get out.
    - it's not for everyone. it's for people that find satisfaction in being challenged and are driven to be a winner.
    - benefits aren't terrible at all, but they could be better compared to the companies we service (mainly the 401k contribution)

    Advice to Management

keep doing what you're doing to navigate through the growing pains. leadership can be spread thin at times, which results in underdeveloped and underproducing staff. invest in more advanced technology to streamline various processes.

I have been working at Corporate Brokers full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I have never in my life worked with a group of people that care about me so much professionally and personally. It is truly rare to find a company that takes so much time to develop you. Our leadership is open and honest and is personally invested in each and every employee. Our ethics are unparalleled. Its amazing knowing that doing the right thing is always the number one priority. Our culture is the best thing about us. Your thoughts and opinions are not only encouraged but expected. Yes, we work hard. If you don't like working hard, we aren't the company for you. We don't work hard because we have to punch a clock at the end of the day. We work hard because we want to. We know that by working hard we are directly effecting our bank accounts, our teammates' bank accounts and our company's growth (not to mention helping people find their new careers and helping clients find their new teammates).

This isn't the place for you if you don't like change or are afraid to step outside your comfort zone. If you want to PERSONALLY effect your colleagues and company, this is the place for you. This is my forever "job".

    Cons

    Growing pains... is that negative??

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing!

I worked at Corporate Brokers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some of the people were very nice and welcoming to the company.

    Cons

Very unorganized and some employees extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. The whole training process is very rushed and unorganized. If you are not a sourcer or recruiter you basically weren't important to the company and then acted like you were not worth anyone's time. My actual supervisor barely was at the office and when she was, she never actually took the time to really sit down and ask me how the position was going. Everyone who actually trained and directed me was very rude and extremely pushy. Half the time they were gossiping instead of taking the time to help me or assist me in learning my position. They already decided I wasn't a right fit for the company after a "good" personal review with two of the upper leveled staff members. They told me to basically leave the very second I was told I wasn't a right fit for the position. Definitely need some organization and better management.

    Advice to Management

Please communicate better to all staff, even those that necessaryly might not be making you all the money. Everyone deserves to be recognized no matter what their job title may be.
