    Pros

    Great benefits, amazing supervisor, great coworkers, work environment, gym in building the whole team goes, good bonus, random free lunches learning is great overall great stepping stone

    Slightly low pay, career advancement not too much unless within the education realm of things less politics involved small company

    Excellent mission behind work. Contribute to high quality public media. Employer contribution to retirement plan.

    Cons

    Executive staff is very distant from mid-level. Slow to adapt to new technologies and work practices (flex time, teleworking).

    Pros

    CPB supports the great mission of public broadcasting, and there's a wonderful team of people there. One of the best places I've ever worked and outstanding benefits and time off.

    Cons

    It's a small organization so there's limited mobility.

    Working with people who actually provide funding for public television and radio stations across the country Great work environment Wonderful benefits (1/2 work days on Fridays during the summer) most holidays off Free access to gym

    Pros

    Opportunity to have an impact on policy affecting Public Broadcasting. Lots of responsibility will be given to you. Your own office. Summer Fridays - 1pm Good benefits

    Cons

    Too many chiefs not enough indians Each week or month brings a new emergency "fire drill" to drop everything and work on. Information is not disseminated throughout the organization. Silos Politics

    Excellent benefits, great mission, office location is central

    Cons

    Stress of federal funding sources, lots of bureaucratic red tape, executives are very disconnected from the worker bees, senior staff are given much more flexibility than mid-level employees (in benefits, work hours in office, etc.)
