I have been working at Correct Care Solutions full-time

    Pros

This company is making revolutionary changes in forensic and correctional medicine.

    Cons

As with any kind of changes, it takes time, commitment and team work. There are still a few "nay-sayers" on board, but they are coming around and can see the benefits of the changes.

    Advice to Management

I am honored to be a part of the team and I am amazed at the miracles that I see every day. It is my hope that we have raised the bar in the standard of care for all persons served.

I have been working at Correct Care Solutions full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have been employed with CCS for going on 4 months now and have NEVER worked for a more supportive company. The onboarding process and site orientation is excellent because, not only is it tailored to your needs specifically but the people working here are very welcoming and supportive. I think that Correct Care Solutions is probably one of healthcare's "best kept secrets" that we need to get more information out there about. I wish I would have started here at the beginning of my nursing career... I am sure I would still be in the company now if I had... there is so much room for career growth.

    Cons

None that I can see... just need to get our name out there more and bring on some more great team players.

    Advice to Management

Keep up what you are doing!

    Pros

Excellent coworkers. Most of the coworkers are great team players.

    Cons

Local management is awful. They talk HR business to your coworkers. If you work any shift besides A then you are totally forgotten about.

    Advice to Management

Upper management needs to work more with our local management on people skills.

I worked at Correct Care Solutions full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Really nice place to work. Great administrative support from hospital and from corporate. The staff is excellent and has a great team effort with all disciplines. Senior Leadership as well as Corporate Leadership is always there when you need them.

    Cons

Although great team effort, low pay for Mental Health Technicians creates a great difficulty in keeping retention for continuity. Salaries need to be addressed so the hospital could be more competitive to similar work sites in the area. Benefits are mediocre and could be improved.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great leadership you all provide, but work on providing a better incentive package for your staff and improving retention.

    Pros

I like helping to make lives better.

    Cons

Favorites are played among supervisors and staff. People who should have no buisness being in a management position are, while they do not take people with the talent or experience who were previously at different jobs in a management role. Pay is low for the amount of work. And unrealistic views of forced overtime. People have families and kids and spouses who work, they cant just take mandatory overtime a few times a week. Company expects you basically live at the facility to make up for the enormous turnover and not enough staff. They need to address why turnover is happening. Better pay, benefits, and hiring more people than they usually do would help. But none of those simple actions are taken. RTA's are often put in dangerous situations without enough security. Pay is always being screwed up and the company wants you to wait another 2 weeks till you get paid again to have it fixed!! Which is innappropriate!!

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees who work hard for you and enjoy their jobs. Read above. Management also needs to take responsibility for not training employees for certain things.. dont blame the employee because they didnt know and were not trained with that info.m ive seen it many times!
