I worked at Così part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Nothing nada zip zero none.

    Cons

Flexibility depends on the manager, managers are taken advantage off from cooperate people higher up in the company, hours vary "according" to business, raises are a joke, they only give you a raise yearly because the state mandates it, you have General Managers who are illiterate and cannot operate a simple Windows machine and treat employees worse than a dog, health and insurance are a joke too, many hourly partners...

    Advice to Management

DON'T TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES LIKE PAWNS AND CUT THEIR HOURS BECAUSE THEY DON'T MEET YOUR STANDARDS. HR SHOULD BE MORE INVOLVED.

I worked at Così full-time for more than a year

    Pros

When first started back in 2014, the staff was very friendly! My GM made sure I didn't need anymore training or help. They really like to cross train and promote their partners. I started off as a barista and ended as a shift lead. Being a shift lead you really get to lean a lot about your guest as well as your partners.

    Cons

They have a completely different management team. Their insurance isn't so great. If you have a problem with the managers, you have to go directly to HR because district managers won't care.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you just show that you love what you do!

I worked at Così full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-Trained for an least one day for position -Managers that believe in the company motivate you to want more for yourself -Fun managers/staff=great work life Keeping busy allows time to fly

    Cons

-Sometimes cross training (for multiple positions) utilized to make most of employees to cut down on hiring more staff -Can be repetitive work if you do it long enough -Bad/apathetic managers/staff=miserable work life They will overwork you at some point.

    Advice to Management

A company still on it's way should have the time to grow and learn from mistakes, rather than encourage growth location-wise. This zealous growth hurts employees, especially those working the hardest. Maybe known to directors and

    Pros

Work to life balance is great. RJ is taking this company in the right direction and the company should be profitable by mid 2015 according to projections.

    Cons

It sometimes seems SL's do more than AM's..for an hourly rate.

I have been working at Così full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I love working for Cosi! The management is amazing, the area manager and CEO are very involved in the stores and the progression of the business.

    Cons

A lot of the employees don't value their jobs. The pay is not that great. They are short staffed in the busiest stores.

    Advice to Management

You are doing amazing. Just pay your employees more money.
