I have been working at Costa full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

The people who work with our customers are what makes this company what it is. The enthusiasm, pride and commitment is inspiring.

    Cons

As the senior leaders have changed, so has the culture... sell, sell, sell (almost at any cost) over customer service, hospitality and customer lifetime value.

    Advice to Management

Providing genuine care for our people is what made our company great.

    Pros

You get to manage your own time. You get quiet a lot of autonomy over the role

    Cons

Too many direct reports, more than other companies. Locations can be quiet far and public transport is not great

I worked at Costa full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great brand, great barista training. It's a fun and exciting place to work. Definitely not boring!

    Cons

The environment can be quite gossipy, communication is quite poor and the money definitely is below industry average.
