    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Costa Cruise Lines (More than a year)

    Pros

A multicultural place. I had been respected to my colleagues and improved a team work as well. The usual language on my department was Italian.

    Cons

I really see the discrimination for non European crew (extra EU and skin color). Not much respect to health crew. It's a economic line and the routes are not a great stimulus.

    Advice to Management

The manager makes the difference between a good professional live on board and a crazy live on board. The live on board is even hard but is possible work hard and live well if the manager decides it.

    Pros

They pay for your uniform, flights, food and shelter. You can boast of to someone that you have been to these many number of countries.

    Cons

Long hours of crappy jobs. No leaning. Cheapest wages for people from third world countries like Philippines, India and Brazil. Afterall, where can u get an american work for USD 547/ month 16 hrs a day, 7 days a week for 9 months??

    Advice to Management

Consider the above mentioned citizens as humans. Pay them decent. Atleast consider their hardwork for eligible promotions over school dropout fresh Italians.
