I have been working at Cotiviti full-time

    Pros

Cotiviti is the leading company in payment integrity. I have gained tons of knowledge and experience while being employees.

    Cons

There are no high level position available and the pay has yet to switch over to salary. The morale is very low and management does not seem to care.

    Advice to Management

Work with human resources to determine how to engage with your employees more . also discuss issues with salary and keep your employees in the know about changes.

I have been working at Cotiviti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. Great people
    2. Work life balance
    3. Opportunities to learn
    4. Immediate managers are very encouraging, help in career goals and also understand the team dynamics.
    5. Company tries to take initiatives to bring new technologies in

    Cons

    1. Senior leadership is not very experienced and professional
    2. A lot of bad technical decisions are made without thorough research and are thrusted upon the teams
    3. A safe culture is being promoted, but is getting more and more unsafe by the day. New managers/directors being hired and not in touch with reality and help the teams. Leadership method being adopted is -" lead by fear" and they like to maintain a tight leash
    4. A lot of people from the same company have been brought over that are trying to make drastic changes
    5. No real technical understanding to grasp by projects are mismanaged and processes run bad. Band aid fixes are encouraged
    6. Still a lot of old school technologies
    7. Clear mis management and mis communication even within the SLT
    8. No real definition of roles and responsibilities. No clear vision or direction

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people who work for you, trust them to make decisions, get real talent in SLT that understands the technical work. stop bringing in consultants that come in for coaching with no real agenda and lack soft skills that end up insulting the employees. Choose industry standard technologies. Give bonus and promote the right people.

I have been working at Cotiviti full-time

    Pros

Excellent pay for people with little to no prior experience.

    Cons

Senior Professionals, those with Seniority, and those with a history of helping to make the company successful are no longer valued.

    Advice to Management

Reconsider the business strategy of phasing out senior talent, and those who were integral to building the company from the ground up. The money that will be saved by paying just widget processors, instead of the highly skilled experts who helped make the company, will eventually lead the company to ruin. This business approach is already causing serious damage to the company's value proposition, and is not fair to your valued clients. A better way to manage costs/value is to stop hiring Senior Directors from the outside to manage new initiatives. Instead, get to know the industry leading talent sitting in a cubicle outside of your office who is just bursting with great ideas, and who possesses the non-negotiable traits that the company always said they valued.

    Pros

Benefits, Flexible work schedule, room to grow

    Cons

There is a big lack of middle management. Not only was I never kept in the loop about changes, invited to meetings and such but my manager never ever acknowledged me half the time. How they got their job and have been able to keep it beats me. This job is good though if you don't mind being a hermit.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to your employees and make it an inviting environment

    Pros

Flex time, working remotely and the flex time and the overtime, bonuses

    Cons

As several other reviewers have stated run as fast as you can. Upper management plays favorites in the worst way and this will prohibit your success. Hunan resources extremely unprofessional millennials no empathy or interpersonal skills.

    Advice to Management

Review the employee surveys and implement ask yourself why the high turnover? Your managers executives included classes on interpersonal skills.

I worked at Cotiviti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great opportunity to develop new audit concepts and increase employee salaries.

    Cons

Tenured auditors blacklisted newer auditors that identified new, valid audit methods that yielded large recovery opportunities because they considered their positions threatened as a result.

    Advice to Management

Thoroughly review and give consideration to new concepts rather than relying on their tenured auditors' opinions because they report negative findings on good audit concepts because they didn't personally identify those opportunities.
