I worked at Cotiviti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I really liked the people I worked with here and some of the low level managers are very good.

    Cons

The engineering department has become very toxic and all the best talent has been leaving. Upper management views engineers as an expense rather than an asset and it shows. They avoid giving out raises and promotions at all costs, hence why so many people have quit. The company pays well below market value salary and upper management refuses to acknowledge this in any way. Horribly outdated technology such as MSAccess is still being used and there is no plan to replace it. I'm sure they must hiring like crazy right now to replace everyone, but DO NOT WORK HERE. It is a trap and you will probably leave in 6 months.

    Advice to Management

Realize that IT is valuable to what the company is doing. You get what you pay for. You are an analytics company and you need to actually invest in engineering.

I have been working at Cotiviti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits, cheap health insurance, really good vision and dental benefits, company is modernizing really quickly

    Cons

In my department there aren't really too many opportunities for moving up or getting promoted. There are a lot of lateral opportunities but yeah

    Advice to Management

Senior leadership is really working hard to transform the company and to improve things for everyone who works here. Since they are working on it, I don't have any advice!

I worked at Cotiviti full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-My supervisor on site was an angel, and really fought for my team, but upper level IT management was incompetent and often ignored our feedback or requests
    -

    Cons

-Benefits are not great, healthcare was expensive and not great
-IT team has a very high workload, but no bonuses or raises for Desk Side members to compensate the labor expected
-IT management is poor, there is very little communication, technologies were rolled out without myself or my teammates getting any sort of heads up

    Advice to Management

-Listen to your senior members and make IT more of a priority in the budget rather than seeing us as an expense
-This company made 2 billion in profits in 2017 yet we had to BEG the fincnace department for laptops for new hires (do they think laptops appear out of thin air?), the cost of a new hire should include the cost of equipment, and not come out of our own budget because it would bankrupt us every year

I worked at Cotiviti full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There was always coffee in the break room

    Cons

    Where do I begin
    - HR department is incompetent to say the least, it took me a month to receive my first paycheck
-I have never worked for a company that is deceitful, manipulative and overall awful and i worked for banks.
-Management does not know how to manage, don't sit there and point out mistakes then wait till they are fixed and add more mistakes, only to make it look like the employee does not know what they are doing.
-CEO has these grand meeting but refuses to answer valid questions employees have and keeps trying to steer in another direction
-Overall this company is horribly managed.
-Systems constantly crash and leave you with out the ability to do your job.

    Advice to Management

You need to reevaluate the way you operate business.

    Pros

Flexible schedule with work from home days

    Cons

What a joke. People leave for a reason yet no one asks why? Much less does anything about it. False hope for promotions and raises. Lies to employees about what to expect and changes to come. Mgmt hiring anyone off the street and provided no training yet wondered why ID was failing.
Run from this company. They are selling again for a reason.

    Advice to Management

    Listen. Learn.
