I have been working at Cotiviti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Cotiviti offers a great work environment. The management team is very supportive and prepares the employees to succeed. There is constant communication from upper management to all of the teams and a strong positive influence to maintain and go beyond our goals.

    Cons

I would love if we had a Cotiviti parking lot.

    Advice to Management

I appreciate the Management Team! (and I feel appreciated) They are readily available when needed. Each manager has a strong commitment to the employees and value each and every one of us. I feel like an important part of a strong, ever growing family!

I have been working at Cotiviti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Managers are very flexible with your work schedule. There are many opportunities to move up in the company. Salary is very fair and you receive plenty of PTO.

    Cons

Not all employees are able to work remote.

    Advice to Management

Training can be improved. More training tools and more time spent on training new employees could go a long way.

I have been working at Cotiviti (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    There were. Non any more.

    Cons

Company is out sourcing and cutting costs.... They are getting rid of awards.... With no replacement.

    Advice to Management

Don't send email out saying happy veterans day when you clearly don't care. I worked at Connolly when it was small.... There were months when auditors didn't get paychecks because we had to cover costs out of our pool. Now... We are bought by your company and not given any stock. In fact... We don't get anything unless we want to buy inflated stock after your earnings statement. But don't worry about anyone else when your cashing out half a million every two weeks. We salut you Mr CEO and board

I have been working at Cotiviti full-time

    Pros

A few legacy management staff around

    Cons

Global Town-hall Meeting QA session questions were edited and all "Top" questions were avoided

    Advice to Management

If you are not going to answer questions that matter then just don't have a Q&A session, then a least there is no pretense that you care.

    I worked at Cotiviti full-time

    Pros

-business casual M-Th and casual on Friday

    Cons

-Horrible HR (my first check was sent out from the CT office the day of pay day, so got paid 4 days after everyone did)
-very deceitful, they tell you one thing and expect something else.
-there is no formal training especially for people that don't know the job all to well

    Advice to Management

Just cause you have years of experience does not mean you know how to be a manager. Get your act together and stop white washing everything, if employees are concern answer those concerns don't just say "oh well..." and not even answer the question.

    I worked at Cotiviti full-time

    Pros

Competitive salary; effective mid-level leadership. Teams operate in silos and mostly left alone with a sole focus on finding and recovering health plan overpayments to providers.

    Cons

Poor strategic direction and lack of common goals and purpose. Uncertainty on if or how to merge two distinct lines of businesses-- prospective and retrospective auditing. Technology systems and processes are very outdated. CIO is attempting to implement new technology but unsuccessful so far (1.5 years in the making). Huge push to offshore operations and IT leaving bare-bone staff in US. Poor HR policies, practices and guidance.

    Advice to Management

Going public in 2016 might have been a mistake. Return to a private equity company and stick to knitting -- that is, finding overpayments the old fashion way using legacy technology and human auditors. Give up on the Ab Initio platform implementation!!!

I have been working at Cotiviti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

For me, Cotiviti has been a great place to learn, grow and contribute in new ways. I'm surrounded by intelligent, ambitious people all day and there's a great deal of exciting change going on. Being here requires an open mind about the future, and an appreciation for people who thrive in a complex and increasingly technical environment. Our Senior Leadership Team is unbelievably talented, yet humble. My leader is a great coach. I get to work remotely a day or so a week, and it makes a big difference in terms of thinking/focus time and managing life.

    Cons

Technology woes create a productivity tax. We take on too many things at once, and could benefit from focusing on the vital few.

    Advice to Management

You're on the right track. Keep making the hard decisions about those who aren't up for the level of collaboration and adaptability we need to be successful.
