I worked at Cotter Consulting full-time

    Pros

Cotter is very good at gaining business in it specific but essential niche area in construction and engineering project management. And internally it offers a lot of great benefits, strong workplace culture.

    Cons

I worked with Cotter during a time transition, especially in in the management and executive suite. There wasn't a lot of strong communication during that time of transition, which negatively affected morale.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

There is a small business attitude that is contagious.

    Cons

Small business that is susceptible to revenue downturns, didn't have a strong follow up and management with government contracts.

    Pros

As an intern, I felt that the work I was doing was comparable to other full time employees. I did not have to do pointless, busy work. I was treated as if I was a full time employee as well.

    Cons

There were not too many interesting projects that the company was working on when I was there. My work schedule was hectic and unpredictable

    Advice to Management

take more interest in employee's needs out on the field
