I worked at Coty for less than a year

    Pros

    - The office space: It's in the Empire State Building, and is pretty new, so it looks great. There's also a nice gym with a highly subsidized membership fee for building employees. - Awesome brands: So, you can get nice samples and takeaways if you network with the right teams. - Decent hours:

    Cons

    - Organizational structure was challenging. Leadership felt disconnected from the teams, and provided ambiguous direction. A lot of time spent on building presentations, with very little actual progress. - Lack of teamwork across teams - Inconsistent talent - some very sharp, others were very... not

    Advice to Management

Build a company where employees want to come to work, and not just see it as a "paycheck".

I worked at Coty full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Free beauty samples occasionally, summer hours, good office location.

    Cons

They don't care about their employees. HR decisions are made to benefit and make the senior management look good, not to grow their talents. It's definately not a fostering environment if you want to grow and learn. I worked at coty for over 2 years and felt like being exploited for hard work in a pretty office, with little to none appreciation. It's so bureaucratic and the amount of office politics at play are horrific...

    Advice to Management

Stop playing politics and start focusing on valuing and growing your employees. The toxic culture there needs to be shaken up.

I worked at Coty full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The diversity...I don t see any other pro.

    Cons

The List could be long but to put it short: - No consideration for employees work/life balance (I witnessed the case of a new parent being asked to work on the day of his child’s birth to « not let the team down ») - the impact of politics: the management can ignore people bad behaviors an lack of collaboration. This based on hierarchy, results or cronyism. - the overall atmosphere: many employees complains...

And please don’t waste your time with the copies/pasted answer to this message about « report to your management ».
