    Pros

Iconic brands, Entrepreneurial culture, opportunity to make and impact from day 1.

    Cons

Company is in the middle of a transition, so not for everyone. Have to be willing to roll up your sleeves and build the future

I have been working at Coty full-time

    Pros

Benefits are decent. Brand portfolio could be exciting.

    Cons

Senior management top heavy. Continually cut budgets. Huge pressure on making miracles happen without the tools to do so.

    Advice to Management

Reflect on your choices and see if they are actually working or just making people miserable. People work for people and honestly most people are over it.

    I worked at Coty full-time

    Pros

    People and benefits top notch!

    Cons

Once PG was merged they removed most of upper management roles and filled with PG employees. Environment was completely changed because you had a new organization that didn't have a detailed understanding of the industry trying to make changes that wouldn't work.

    I worked at Coty full-time

    Pros

Coty gave the illusion of "business as usual" after acquiring P&G's Professional Beauty business.

    Cons

Within 9 months, the voluntary & involuntary separations began, followed by severe budget cuts. The investment behind brand growth was forfeited in an attempt to revive the stock price. Marketing, Sales, and Customer Teams are simply going through the motions, while getting internal pressure to customer load. Customer relationships are a thing of the past.

    Advice to Management

You get more bees with honey than vinegar. The customer should come first.

I have been working at Coty full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I feel I am fully responsible for my area, which in a big company frees you. Decisions get made quickly and while they may not all go your way, it means you don't get bogged down. I can suggest anything that I think will make a big difference and I get listened to. The people are on the whole very friendly and there isn't much politics. The leadership are really approachable.

    Cons

It is a fast pace, which means I need to be a fast thinker and deliverer. You need to believe in your ideas, which isn't really a "con", but you need to confident.

    Advice to Management

Keep leading by example. Keep the agility at all costs. Keep the start-up mentality.
