I have been working at Coty full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great Benefits. Up until recently ( last 2 years) everyone was working towards the same goals and objectives and collaborated as a team. Yes of course there was complaining here and there but in the end we all made it happen!

    Cons

Coty no longer values it's resources, only the bottom line. Whole departments are being eliminated and as a result required tasks are not being carried out due to "lack of resources"

    Advice to Management

Stop being penny wise and dollar foolish, the salaries you are cutting are impacting your bottom line in a negative way. Motivate your employees to want to make the company a success

I have been working at Coty full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good opportunities for graduates that have little experience

    Cons

Lots of new people and gaps in new processes put in place

    Advice to Management

Move the experience people up instead of putting inexperienced people in leadership that make changes that don’t make sense.

I have been working at Coty full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

      - Solid base and high bonus - Summer Friday’s - Staff Shop! - Upgraded leadership team

      Cons

      - Pressure cooker environment, long hours, short deadlines.. - Unrealistic objectives - President appears totally out of touch with reality - Poor management behaviors tolerated by the CEO chosen few - Blame culture

      Advice to Management

Wake up and set realistic objectives Take some responsibility for the results instead of blaming everyone else.. Value and treat all people equally, not just prima donnas.

I have been working at Coty full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

We get paid very well and the company is always trying to keep up with the competition. 401 K match at 6% my 401 K has doubled since I left the last company that I was with, they matched 3% (if you stayed 3 years). I am putting in 6% and Coty is matching me 10% (what other companies offer that). People are very friendly and helpful to work with. I plan to retire here! Some people don't know how good they...

      Cons

The systems still need improvement so that they communicate with each other, there is still a lot of double work going on, but I think they are working on it. Trust your employees to make decisions, it will help in the long run! Overall, I enjoy working for Coty!

      Advice to Management

Listen to the employees...Give better training on the benefits - too general

I have been working at Coty part-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

Flexible job, great gratis, great training.

      Cons

No growth, been a BA for years, have spoken to my management to help grow in the company and no help there. Have been on several interviews with the company for different sectors but still no growth.

      Advice to Management

Recognize talent, and help your brand ambassadors grow in the company, don't just see them as "salesmen" but reward hard work to grow in the company

I have been working at Coty for less than a year

      Pros

Beautiful newly renovated campus where you can work at your desk, or take your laptop outside for a relaxing afternoon to work by yourself. There are a good group of individuals who understand the struggle of the organization. Working hours were good, benefits are okay, and the location is nice.

      Cons

Unfortunately there are those who have somehow crawled their way to the top and you should be weary of them. The company has no formal training, there inadequate group of individuals who just expect you to figure things out, and "work like an entrepreneur" basically do not expect to get help from anyone, just read a packet and figure it out. You may get lucky and work with an understanding group or an awful individual...

      Advice to Management

Organize a formal training process for new hires, there are many different systems and processes that no one new, or current has still grasped 100%. HR needs to watch management closely unfortunately there are some individuals who are deceitful and have somehow managed to grow within the organization. These individuals will eventually cause a larger issue within the company. When P&G merged with Coty the brands...

I worked at Coty full-time for more than a year

      Pros

The only “Pro” was working in the Empire State Building.

      Cons

I was hired right before the merger. I thought it would be a great learning experience for me. And was sold on the opportunity for growth because of the P&G merger by the recruiter. 1. No training: you’re expected to just figure everything out via trial and error. No one offers to help you. You have to learn how to do everything on your own while simultaneously trying to meet unrealistic deadlines. 2. Unrealistic...
