I worked at County of Santa Clara full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There's a lot of opportunity for overtime if that's something you're into. Also, there's a lot of room for advancement. Benefits, flexible schedules, and training are all good things in my book.

    Cons

Some agencies can be a bit disorganized and that will tend to make your job harder. It's not very good when there's poor communication between departments.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employee input and don't be afraid to try new things instead of staying with the "it's always been done this way" mentality.
