    Benefits

    Methodology/tools - Agile, Jira etc.
    Can be a good place to retire

    Cons

    There is barely any diversity in the company. A US native may will feel left out. Poor job mobility if you like career change etc. You are on your own there is no mentoring or grooming. Some shades of favoritism is also visible. This is a 10+ year old company trying to behave like startup.

    Advice to Management

    You are a great story teller but you do not tell the real story. Direction misleading and confusing. You only communicate at quarterly hands-on.

    Meet and communicate with employees more often.

    Perks are fine. And the office location is closer to commute from south bay.

    Cons

    No coordination between management and teams. People feel very insecure of their job.

    nice free lunches and generally speaking the compensation and benefits are fair

    Cons

    terrible leadership, no communication about vision and strategy, no teamwork, most leaders are walking around afraid that they will lose their job so therefore they do nothing to standup to the top executives, place is a continual revolving door

    even the free lunches are terrible

    The executive management team is in a fantasy world- low on skill, planning and communication, high on ridiculous expectations and micromanagement. The silly corporate events like dressing up for an all day Halloween party or Walking Dead Movie Nights do nothing for real team building or building the skills of the employees. There is virtually no opportunity for anyone here, it is disorganized, no goals, no real business plan, no team or individual objectives. This company is a revolving door of leaders and employees - and Customers. Attrition is incredibly high between people getting the heck out and them firing and replacing people, only to fire the next one and rehire. Trust in leadership and CEO is absolutely minimal and they are scrambling to find the next big thing that may save this place. It is not worth saving.

    Advice to Management

    Get your act together. Create an actual business plan, mission and corporate goals beyond a revenue goal and actually share with your employees. if they don't know what to believe in they can't follow you. The incredibly unprofessional, internally competitive culture people can not stand to get out of. Please, please get rid of dogs in the office. They simply do not belong there.

    Pros

    There was a good group of engineers who thirsted for a change. So prospects/possibilities were exciting.

    Cons

    CEO is ineffective. Cofounder hasn't kept up with modern advances which is troubling given the position is one of technical leadership. Cronyism and nepotism.

    Advice to Management

    This is a non-Silicon Valley Internet company even though it is based in Silicon Valley.

    Pros

    My favorite things so far are the work-life balance, free lunch and snacks, unlimited vacation, treadmill desks, and general positive and friendly attitudes. A lot of fun employee activities here!

    Cons

    Open work space in combination with the lack of small conference rooms. I also think there is room for improvement in terms of implementing corporate-wide systems/process/tools.

    Pros

    Free catered lunch and snacks.

    Cons

    High turnover, contract-to-fulltime promises are rarely fulfilled, lack of career development, higher ups are overpaid and don't care about your wellbeing (which also leads to high turnover in both lower and higher positions), cubicles. The company is still structured with lots of politics and hierarchy but tries to be "new Silicon Valley."

    Advice to Management

    Start caring about your employees and their personal career development. It helps the company grow. Find some leadership that will stick around and bring real changes to the company.

    Flexible working hours, knowledgeable people and reasonably good compensation and benefits. Free lunches.

    Cons

    Office environment is getting a bit dated but will apparently be refreshed and refurbished.
