I worked at Court Square (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Location was great. Facilities were great. Management was for the most part ok. Culture was good. Companies we did work for were for the most part ok.

    Cons

Management didn't always treat everyone fairly. There was favoritism which caused moral problems and teams to suffer. Not much opportunity to gain skills and advance due to lack of formal training and favoritism.

    Advice to Management

Get everyone on teams involved and cross trained as much as possible. The company will be that much stronger if everyone has a stake in the work going on.

I have been working at Court Square full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some decent individuals working for the firm. Good central location, not much travel required.

    Cons

Owner/CEO was stubborn and berated employees constantly. Low employee morale. Poor benefits and compensation for the amount of work required. Difficult to work with customers due to miscommunication between CEO, clients, and employees. Numerous customers and good employees lost due to poor executive decisions from CEO. No training whatsoever on clients- just expected to dive in and learn with no training.

    Advice to Management

CEO should communicate more (if not exclusively) through other upper and middle management. Should significantly boost compensation and offer better time off benefits given amount of work expected. Should offer team-building and training suitable for the level of work that's being done. Company needs to be more realistic about what they can undertake and be more honest about it's own limitations, especially given the extremely limited staff and training,

I have been working at Court Square full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nothing good going on at CSG now, years ago this was a mediocre firm, but due to owner micromanagement and verbal threats to employees, customers caught on, and let in droves.

    Cons

Owner is way off his meds. CEO is a bad hire. Staff dwindling.

    Advice to Management

Sell business, fire sale, leave town.
