I worked at Covansys full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Talented people, it's a great place to work. People were very aggressive in their work. They were very helpful too. I's offered adequate training for this role.

    Cons

Need to have more work life balance. I's putting 14-15 hrs a day for continuously 6 months. I's very tired after 3 months and looking for break.

    Advice to Management

Need to create more opportunities for junior management people. Team must have women power as well. It's all male centric when I was working

I worked at Covansys full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good at processing H1-B visas and green card applications, given their rich experience.
Good for young professionals just starting their career.

    Cons

For a bit senior professionals, there is no career path to advance. Even with a newly minted MBA, they would still want you to do the same job, without a slight chance of advancing to a higher level.

They tended to do a lot of "staff augmentation" projects, meaning, just sending people to work for big companies as contractors. In the consulting sector, this is nicknamed "body-shopping".

Management is quite Indian style, with refined skills in withholding information and misleading their subordinates.

The executive team was not effective in forming and executing strategies.

    Advice to Management

Be real and be honest with employees.
