They are contracted employer so they have a much quicker hiring rate and speed than their government counterparts

      Cons

Workflow is speed over quality, sometimes even ignoring SOP

      Very Authoritarian

      Pros

Lots of overtime available due to a high turnover rate. Low costs medical coverage. You get to meet celebrities and snap a pic. They prefer to hire low caliber individuals: folks with no skills and only holding a high school degree.

      Cons

Since CAS is a contracting agency, they have a selling point to secure their federal contract; which is to terminate employees left and right to justify their existence. Most folks find that they are getting unjust write-ups all the time, many Supervisors feel that it justifies their existence. Requesting a day off and getting it approved is nearly impossible. You could request a day 3-4 month and it will be denied citing "Operational Need." We have noticed that most of the management only hold an associates degree and graduated from Heald College.
