"Some individuals do not pull their weight and cause others to carry more of the work load" (in 7 reviews)
Pros
Co workers can be helpful and not much else to say. Work from home a blessing and a curse.
Cons
DONOT WORK HERE!!! Work here if you like being micromanaged, subjected to hostility and abuse by managers, underpaid and overworked, unethical and impossible billing requirements, extreme favoritism shown to friends and workers who suck up to management. Work that takes 1.5 hrs to do and can only bill 18 minutes for so that you have to work overtime to meet billing requirements and then told your overtime would not be approved. Horrible company. The field case managers are worked into fatigue and then blamed for work not done on time. Heavy driving in heavy traffic is exhausting. Management gives poor performance reviews to those that they dont like so no raise after being worked all year. Director does not care. Bonuses up to 1.8 times salary for those at the top.
Advice to Management
Nothing to say.
I worked at Coventry Health Care (More than a year)
Pros
Upon hiring, I noticed the team lead and manager interactions with the employees were great. That type of relationship lead to a very comfortable thriving environment!
Cons
The only concern I had was with the flexibility of scheduling. I felt at times we were flooded with calls, but barren at other times.
Advice to Management
Look into different models of call forecasting, which better predicts the staff needed for any given day.

Cons
Company changed when Aetna took over.

Pros
Great colleagues who worked together to put the client first, being available to answer questions and resolving issues.
Cons
Management unfair with rampant favoritism and allowing people to not be accountable. Only allowed lateral moves with no increase in salary. No room for advancement.

I worked at Coventry Health Care full-time (More than a year)
Pros
My favorite part about my position is that I was able to work from home. Although we were micromanaged heavily, I felt a little more freedom. Also there was lots of overtime offered.
Cons
This company went through a buyout and a few of our teams were laid off as positions were outsource. Several people were only given a few days notice after we were assured our jobs were safe. There was no real path for promotions. Once you hit your peak, that was it. Everything was very strict. If you were late for ANY reason you received an occurrence. My coworker has a wreck and was written up for being late.
Advice to Management
Trust your employees. We have to meet daily requirements so there is no need to put additional pressure on team members who are clearly working hard and their numbers back that up.

I worked at Coventry Health Care full-time (More than 3 years)
Pros
Competitive salary and benefits. Management was mostly engaged and did not shy away from interacting with entry level employees. Work from home options were available.
Cons
Management was slow to react to department needs at times. Training for new hires was not as comprehensive as it could have been.
Advice to Management
Listen to your departments when they communicate challenges and help them to overcome them. Invest more time in training your new hires as they will become the face of your organization.
