    Many opportunities for growth, excellent benefits, great values and ethics, excellent managers.

    Cons

    Bureaucracy, sometimes changes take too long to be effective which can be expected in a heavy regulated environment.

    Continue to invest in employee development

    Pros

    Great products to bring innovative solutions to patients around the world. Over 50k products that work from a band aid to electro surgery.

    Cons

    Was sold to other big company and they eliminated a lot of positions with the integration process. In the process they let behind a lot of talent.

    Advice to Management

    Rally need to evaluate the process of takeover

    It's a good ole boys network for sure / Lots of short term thinking There is a sort of up or out philosophy which make for a less diverse work force

    Listen more make assumptions less , stock price is not the only indicator of success

    Exciting medical devices and amazing R&D teams. Always on the cutting edge of new science and technology.

    Cons

    Corporate politics and constant reorganizations leads to insecurity of job longevity.

    Advice to Management

    Consider employees stake in the game and that their brain equity is of strong value to a technical and science-based company such as this. No one wants to stick around, when you are just a number on the COGs list.

    Pros

    Growing company, internal moves encouraged, competitive salary and benefits. Nice people, well informed management team who welcomed new ideas and processes.

    Cons

    Lot's of uncertainty following Medtronic acquisition. Massive layoffs, employee moral at an all time low. Salary and benefits were 'right sized'.

    Advice to Management

    People respect transparency. Be honest when discussing long term vision of the company and specifically in regards to local sites.

    Good work environment, team is good, challenging projects,all your skills will be utilized to the highest,

    too many politics to get a promotion. Project team is chosen depending on your rapport with the management

    Pros

    Big company so has pull with hospitals. On most contracts. At least they are big enough to not get bought out. Oh wait...

    Cons

    It's a lot like going to a circus and seeing clowns continuing to pop out of the car. Revolving door. Turnover is absurdly high.
