      Pros

Cox offers lots of opportunities, a great atmosphere, many great people, l loved my time at Cox. The ratio of patients to pcas was always manageable.

      Cons

The schedules were very rigid for certain employees. If you were not in nursing school, they would not work with your hours.

Thank you for your feedback and we are glad you enjoyed your time with CoxHealth. Our managers work very hard to meet the needs of their staff when scheduling. This can sometimes be a challenge with the dynamics in healthcare and the constantly changing needs within the department.

Best hospital in Springfield, but the bar is low

      Business Outlook

      Pros

There are some great people scattered throughout the organization, at every level. Great learning opportunities.

      Cons

RN Pay is $15,000-$20,000 below national average unless you have 20+ years of experience. Organization is historically top-heavy (though the new CEO appears to be properly trimming)

      Business Outlook

      Pros

The company has comparable insurance and good retirement plans. Depending on the department you work in, you work with great people and become like a family. Great for experience and seeing if you want to continue in the healthcare field.

      Cons

Seems to be a constant shortage of staff. Staff is usually always overwhelmed and overworked.
