    Pros

    Opportunity for hours.
    Opportunity to make friends.
Opportunity to to grow into multiple positions if you put in the work to learn.

    Cons

People call in a lot and you get asked to cover shifts all the time, even on days you're not at work.
Low pay for amount of hours you work.
Stressful work environment because of extensive menu.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees better and update your stores to make it friendly to employees. My store is completely outdated and trying to complete simple tasks are difficult because of what we have to work with.

    Pros

The hours are available if they are truly desired, but you have to be self motivated. But if comfortable in the work environment it is a great place to work.

    Cons

Longer shifts, with little or no time for breaks. Pay does not match up with quality nor quantity of the work

I worked at Cracker Barrel part-time

    Pros

I can't really think of any sort of pro. Half priced food was kind of nice, and you could get all the free water or tea you wanted.

    Cons

The managers were never on top of their own jobs, and constantly fought over which employees they had a right to boss around. They didn't just want perfection, they wanted you to hold up the sky.

    Advice to Management

Get on top of your promotions and find people who know how to handle not only themselves, but customers, and other workers.

I have been working at Cracker Barrel full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The best parts of Cracker Barrel are the culture, the training, the compensation and benefits and most importantly the brand.

    Cons

Extreme negatives are long hours for managers and corporate double standards... i.e., protect the employee experience but don't spend too much labor - no excuses.

    Advice to Management

It's counterproductive to focus so much on labor that you sacrifice sales and execution.
