I have been working at Craig Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great medical benefits, great management, company provides multiple opportunities for employees to give back to the community

    Cons

Paid time off is structured like most other companies, start with a little and after several years it increases until you hit the ceiling.

    Advice to Management

If higher retention is desired, my thoughts are to provide more paid time off to all employees.

    Pros

Benefits and location. Friendly recruiting. Fast job on boarding. Carol knows how to work the government.

    Cons

Terrible management. No training. Low salaries. Workload leaves you underwater.
    Poor communication with program directors.
    Malaise work environment.
People work there shortly and discover the job requirements are more than advertised.
Almost all employees are looking for another job, which is more disconcerting.

    Advice to Management

Dropping someone into a meat grinder is not a good business practice

I worked at Craig Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Quick hiring when it comes to time frame. Knew by end of my interview that I had already been selected to be hired on

    Cons

Management lacking interaction with employees past the point of the initial hire. When problems arise, management is quick to fault the employee without a clear understanding of the situation. Management disconnects themselves from employees when problems arise and discourage employee interaction with clients on figuring out a mutually beneficial outcome. Suggests competitive wages but those wages do not take into account the fact that employees work extended hours 90% of the time due to how the job contracts where written.

    Advice to Management

Interact with off site employees more often. It's been nearly 2 years since employees at my location have been visited by anyone from company headquarters

    Pros

One of the BEST companies I've ever worked for and that is saying a lot.

From the people, to the environment, to the benefits, to the most down-to-earth President/CEO you will ever meet.

    Cons

    No cons for Craig Technologies.

    Pros

Good people; very family-like environment. Small work groups and not a lot of micro management. Every seems to work towards common goals.

    Cons

Work based on contracts with other companies. As such, the company is dependent on how other companies are doing with their businesses.

I worked at Craig Technologies (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working on the SLS at Kennedy Space Center. Great people. Dedicated vision. Craig is, on its own, a tremendous organization from what I saw.

    Cons

The management of the SLS software is highly fragmented across multiple companies. Craig has very little if any real authority to step in and support/defend/represent its employees before this disjoint and political infrastructure. If you have any issue with your job, chances are the only option is quit because you will never be heard. This is not Craig's fault. They are simply not the governing authority for its own employees.
