I have been working at Crane Worldwide Logistics full-time

    Pros

Freedom to make independent decisions, chance to have an impact, exposure to many different roles in quick succession, fast paced environment.

    Cons

There is a lack of operational focus that manifests itself in the execution of work and lack of consistency across stations. Also have difficult enacting change across the enterprise.

    Advice to Management

Focus on internal initiatives to inspire workforce.

I have been working at Crane Worldwide Logistics full-time

    Pros

    paycheck is received on time

    Cons

Poor working culture, higher levels of management have no people skills, Customers are constantly offer what the company can not achieve and then the employees are held accountable . NO real values are shared among co-workers at any level.
Company has kept copying old methods (CEVA's way) and not constructing any future.

    Advice to Management

if the company wants to give the next step we need to infuse new blood from growing companies, not the old known friends from companies that are either not going or going out of business. We need to benchmark the companies that are growing even if they are smaller

I worked at Crane Worldwide Logistics full-time

    Pros

Decent Benefits, Onsite Gym, Great peers

    Cons

Don't make a mistake here, you will be belittled in front of everyone. There is very little freedom to make a decision, even though management likes to say there is.

    Advice to Management

drop the micromanaging style and trust your employees to do their jobs. If you don't trust them, why did you hire them?

I worked at Crane Worldwide Logistics full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's a good place to learn, if you are self motivated and can think on your own. And the benefits are very competitive.

    Cons

There is no advancement opportunity, regardless of your position. Appearances are more important than reality. Management says they want to hear feedback, but they really don't.

    Advice to Management

Embrace honesty - there is a disconnect between what you think your company culture is and what is true. Flexibility and advancement is what all of your employees want. Turnover is costing you more than you admit.

    Pros

A good company to start but dont recommend.

    Cons

Dont know where to start. At firts they make thino your important but your not. Not mucj opportunity for minorities. For example: they only hire white people or same kind of persona to the program. Dont really recommend for college graduates, very few opportunities for advancement. Vary unfair pay, 2.3 % raisr every yea.

    Advice to Management

Good managers but the person on top of them has the ultimate word. There's no chance for advancement unless you suck a your job they would move you to another department. That is the only way to move positions

    Pros

This company will bring you on with big goals. They are cutting their budget and you won't be a part of it. If they are trying to hire you, ask to see the budget before they hire you or do your own research. Ensure they give you goals and benchmarks.

There are some great managers and great people on the teams, but upper level management is foul.

    Cons

They cut people with no notice when the money isnt flowing. If you are reading this review in 2017, STAY away. Move to DHL or a more established company with overhead. This company just posted they hired 6 new VP's yet failed to mention how many people they have dropped as a result. Guard your time and energy, this company is not safe to come on with unless you only want a short term job.

    Advice to Management

Hire people you can afford to keep.
