    Pros

    Great management. Lovely coworker. Easy fun place to work . You get a great discount . You can advance In the work place fast .

    Cons

    Few hours . People who bring food in even when it says no food allowed in store and then they make a mess .

    Pros

    Currently restructuring and lots of positive changes are being made. New register program is being implemented now.

    Cons

    Base hours given have us on Single coverage most days, hours are given for tasking but not at a reasonable rate. Protecting shrink is problematic on single coverage.

    Advice to Management

    Stream line new processes, communication to one system. Less apps on iPad to help with training.

    Pros

    Flexible work hours, coworkers are nice to work with

    Cons

    No hours unless you're a manager, no benefits unless you're the store manager, no positions to move up to unless someone is fired/quits, corporate does not care about employees, no raises.

    Advice to Management

    With all the new changes going around after Gymboree filing chapter 11 bankruptcy, it would be nice to incorporate raises for employees. They are now holding employees more responsible for sales and lots of responsibilities. It would be nice if we could be recognized for the hard work we bring forward.

    Paid time off and employee discounts even on sales items. Flexible hours.

    Cons

    Not enough hours for management positions.

    Advice to Management

    Managers and district managers have a problem with taking longer breaks and clocking them in as half hour breaks.

    Pros

    Employee discounts, small store environment so everyone feels like family.

    Cons

    Corporate has their head up their butt. They put unrealistic expectations on the stores. Very few hours if you are a part-time employee.

    Advice to Management

    Get a clue. I'm glad you had to file bankruptcy because maybe that will make you realize things need to change to be successful.

    Small work environment
    Easy to train and learn skill set
    Set your own Monday through Friday schedule
    Quality Products, Great Sales

    Cons

    Almost impossible to hit bonus goals
    Have to work 3 out of 4 weekends, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
    Holidays never get to be taken on the actual day
    District Manager micro-manages everything
    Conversion is everything
    Higher Level Management has no real concept on the selling environment

    Advice to Management

    Fix how sales goals are planned
    allow for actual hours to be given to the store, more than 118.5 a week
    loss prevention is hard to due, when only one person is in the store.
