    Pros

People, people, people. There is a real Ohana here.

    Cons

Cash part of compensation is on the low side. But benefits are good.

    Advice to Management

Lots of great pride-building acknowledgments, but people need financial incentives.
Not just for glory, but to pay their bills.

I have been working at Crazy Shirts full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good employee discount and specials for friends & family.

    Cons

Management relies on butt kissers so make sure you don't rock the boat in any way or you'll pay dearly. Very sales driven to the point of overworking employees at all levels without proper compensation or even a thank you (if you're a butt kisser). Core values only apply to certain employees - favorites can get away with treating people poorly. Certain managers are "psycho"

    Advice to Management

Don't be so greedy and value all employees (not just the favorite butt kissers)

    Pros

Insurance Benefits, health insurance is great

    Cons

Pay! After achieving large sales increases, the raise was 5 cents an hour!!!!!!!!!
They push hard for sales performance but no real reward for doing so

    Advice to Management

put the sales people on commission

I have been working at Crazy Shirts full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I have been with Crazy Shirts for over 5 years and believe it's a great company to work for. It's one of the few company's that I've heard that still treat employees with care and actually care about an employees life and not just treat them like a number. I see all the other reviews and can agree that Crazy Shirts is a business, and that they do have expectations of their employees--so if you do not want to work and just want to cruise and get paid you will not like this company, or any other company for that matter.

    Cons

There are job expectations that you have to meet, cannot just expect to be paid for standing around or doing nothing. If you meet those expectations then life is great.

    Advice to Management

You work for a great company, show your pride!

I have been working at Crazy Shirts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You meet people from all over the world!

    Cons

Raises are determined once a year and not on an individual basis. It's as a store. So even if you yourself did great and others within your store not so great, no one gets raises.I've been there 2 years and never got a raise. I have consistent top sales and never received a raise. I heard their raises are only $0.15 anyways.

Unreal expectations of employees. We are not allowed to just let a customer be in our store. You have to constantly be on them while they're in our store.

    Advice to Management

Pay raises should be determined on an individual basis and not at a set dollar amount.

The company needs more recognition of its top sales people. We work very hard to make good Sales and yet we don't get anything in return.

I worked at Crazy Shirts full-time

    Pros

No experience required. Extensive training in sales provided. Great medical benefits package for full time employees. Very friendly to the LGBTQ community.

    Cons

Not much room for advancement, senior management treats staff and lower management very poorly. Terrible pay.

    Advice to Management

To upper management: treat your employees better, we do the real labor.
To lower management: find a better career and leave

I have been working at Crazy Shirts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The hours can be nice, location

    Cons

Stingy company...Zero Raises, even after one year. Don't expect to make more than $10 an hour. Do not expect many opportunities along way... Just don't work here unless you just need the money.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees more. Your hardest workers are not at the top of the payroll. Thank the people who work hard to make the money you put in your pockets.

My spouse works for a very financially humble man, but he still gave him a $25 dollar gift card to a grocery store for the holidays. Crazy Shirts gave us a card with copied signatures. We all shredded them! They didn't even say Thank you. (our CEO is super rich with many houses and he wont even kick us a piece of gum for the holiday.)

I have been working at Crazy Shirts full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great learning experience, growth in company, monthly bonuses, holiday pay is doubled.

    Cons

High expectations. Some people just don't have the drive to work hard for the company.

    Advice to Management

Each location should have consistent pay rates.

I have been working at Crazy Shirts full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Relaxing environment, laid back, flexible schedule, bonuses upon reaching/exceeding monthly sales quota. Hours are good compared to other shops in the neighbourhood.

    Cons

Strong emphasis to hit daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotas. There's also pressure to learn quickly or risk complications with the company.
