I worked at Creative Business Resources (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great individuals who work together with the common interest of customer satisfaction and quality of work. With its fast paced environment and unending variety of situations brought forth by having over 200 clients depending on CBR, it was great to know you can rely on support from any individual in any department when it was needed.

    Cons

The down side is that I was not used to the over 50 clients assigned to one person environment and it was difficult for me to change my train of thought so frequently that it became overwhelming. This is very common for employees who are used to 1 client, 1 set of guidelines, 1 work culture. The PEO world is not for me, I pulled out to better my career where I feel I can contribute more effectively. In one organization within their HR Department.

    Advice to Management

Take extra care of your people, they are well worth it!

I have been working at Creative Business Resources full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I have worked for CBR for many years. The people that are employed at CBR (including Upper Mgt) are absolutely top notch. The person who posted the April 9 posting would still gladly be employed by CBR if she had paid attention to her clients. Her lack of attention to detail almost cost CBR several clients. CBR Mgt is always looking for people with more expertise than we currently have. This person was not up to the task of having to provide quality work every day.

    Cons

Any cons would be nit picking

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work of sorting out the people that do not want to produce quality work every day.

I worked at Creative Business Resources full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    -always work to be done
    -benefits weren't bad
-high turnover means making friends with new coworkers

    Cons

-company overall does not care about it's employees
-management will not take the time to listen
-managers get bonuses for having less overhead
    -overworked/underpaid
-no work/life balance unless you are a director

    Advice to Management

Listen to other employees besides senior management. If you are a potential client- the sales team might seem friendly but the internal operations are a mess

I have been working at Creative Business Resources full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Professional Peers
    Excellent Benefits
    Supportive Management
    Growth Opportunities
    Customer-Oriented and Friendly Staff
    Small, Family-like Working Environment

    Cons

Can be chaotic at times (could potentially hire some additional team members)
    No regularly-scheduled staff meetings
    No skip-level reviews/meetings

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great support of the staff but try cutting time out for skip-level meetings to review communication between managers and employees. When communication breakdowns occur, things can get hectic or disorganized.
