I worked at Creative Co-Op full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Nice place to work with lots of ability to learn about the wholesale industry. Very open to help in situations.

    Cons

Not much opportunity for job growth/advancement. If you do not like to travel, note this can involve lots of travel.

I have been working at Creative Co-Op full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Above average salary for the area. Excellent working conditions. Management and Administration go above and beyond in everything they do. The owners onsite and very hands on. Robert Wang comes by each of the Customer Service staffs desk almost daily to ask "What are the customers saying?" No one expects the general workers to do anything they are not willing to do themselves. It is a very happy and exciting atmosphere to work in.

    Cons

What can I say? It is WORK.. The company has at least tripled in size in the 7+ years I have been here and with that comes growing pains. We stay pretty busy.

    Advice to Management

We appreciate all you do for us!

I have been working at Creative Co-Op full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you like small family businesses - employee discount

    Cons

This place was crazy right off the bat. I stayed approx. 6 months but in the end couldn't take it any longer and just walked out. The Key Account department is a chaotic unorganized unstructured mess. They expect you to jump through hoops just to get a $300 order from a customer. They do not provide coffee, sugar, creamer. The insurance is $600+ for family coverage.

    Advice to Management

Put your foot down to certain customers and tell them no we can't do that. Stop trying to get ALL the business, it makes you loose sight of what your focus is.

    Pros

Love working in this industry with all the different people you meet, employees are great to work with, and vacation is nice

    Cons

Hard work with little acknowledgement, lots of secrets/meetings and we all know what's going on, too much workload per individual, quantity vs. quality

    Advice to Management

Be humble, be human, listen to your employees

    Pros

Love working with the home decor product and a gratifying feeling of hard work when a large dollar amount PO comes in.

    Cons

There is not alot of communication between upper management and employees. Everything is a secret, but we already know the secret. No room for advancement and a disregard for a family.

    Advice to Management

    Be one with your employees
