I worked at Credible Behavioral Health Software full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

The Health Insurance is free. Software itself is actually a good product and they offer snacks throughout the day but that is it for the pros.

    Cons

Glassdoor asked me to keep it real; I will do just that. This company has town meetings and in those meetings, the CEO and upper management encourages their employees to post positive (not honest) reviews which are a absolute false representation of the company as a WHOLE. They do this because of the quantity of bad reviews received overtime on Glassdoor and they want to flood them out. Think about it, why would...

    Advice to Management

Please stop telling your employees in TOWN HALL MEETINGS to lie to future candidates. I find it disheartening that you all would go so far as to lie to recruit professionals who could better their careers elsewhere. Otherwise, stay blessed.

    Pros

Free health insurance. You will need to use it due to all of the stress. Remote employees (in other states), are somewhat insulated from the stress of the office. The MD office is very nice. They have some great data tracking things in place.

    Cons

From your first day, you can’t trust that you will be employed by the end of the day. Several people don’t make it through the extensive training (3 months). The training is full of poorly planned sessions and peppered with trainee presentations. Yes, even people who aren’t client facing have to do presentations. You don’t receive feedback on your presentation but can get fired as a result of them. By the time you make...

I worked at Credible Behavioral Health Software full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

None that are not completely offset by the cons. Off-sites with free food that will likely no longer take place as the company's stocks are plunging and they are now pinching pennies. Good health insurance, which is cancelled the very same day they terminate employees without notice. Used to be a great team to work with, with exceptional skills and dedication, but what is left of it is either looking for other...

1 - Staff gets rewarded on one single thing: following all C-level execs ridiculous orders with genuine admiration. This is the closest to a feudal microcosm I have ever seen where buffoons are called to entertain the king in his quarters with absurd reports and presentations requests on a daily basis. 2 - The antiquated architecture holding the software together is failing and filled with bugs and vulnerabilities....

Just quit and let competent non-narcissistic, true business people take over. This is the only way your company will survive.

    Pros

Free health insurance for employee only. Off-sites that are mandatory and can be out of the country, so not for everyone. Nicely decorated "cubicle" rooms. Great co-worker, at least for the ones who haven't quit or got dismissed yet.

    Cons

Only consider if you excel at flattering overinflated egos. This is the only requirement necessary for you to retain your job. You can be incompetent and have no skills, as long as you report to executives about employee gossip and compliment them on anything you can possibly think of and mean it, you're good to go. If you have opinions, even if they benefit the company's future and net profit, avoid working there....

    Pros

Health Insurance and the individual contributes. The individual contributes are great, but most leave in short period due the company being awful.

    Cons

I’m not one to normally write reviews, especially negative ones, but I think it’s important to ensure others don’t get themselves into a bad situation. I’ve never experienced such a bad working environment and lack of leadership in my career. All decisions at this company come directly from the top and managers have no control. Employees are treated like children and are micro managed in all aspects of their job. ...

    Advice to Management

Allow your staff to provide anonymous feedback in surveys. Employees fear for their job when filling out the surveys and do not give true feedback. You will never be able to make positive and impactful change if you don't listen to your staff.

I worked at Credible Behavioral Health Software full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The benefits are amazing. I've never worked anywhere that paid 100% of health insurance premiums, and I don't think I will again. The line staff is made up of truly wonderful people. You'll get a lot of experience updating your resume and going on interviews as you try to leave Credible.

    Cons

Everything else. The benefits are good, but it shows management's idea that people can be paid to be happy even though everything else is terrible. Management has a "put up or shut up" attitude. Employees are constantly told that if they're not happy, then they should leave. No, you shouldn't try to work with your manager to solve the problem. No, you shouldn't feel empowered to suggest organization changes. No, you shouldn't...

    Advice to Management

Two words: anonymous surveys. Turnover at Credible is extraordinarily high because your staff is frustrated and does not feel safe giving honest, constructive feedback. No one is going to tell you what is really bothering them when they're worried that doing so will get them fired. This company is in the DC area. We have an educated, experienced workforce with great employers in the area, so you're competing for...

    Pros

Seemingly competitive salaries Fully employer paid health insurance An annual off-site business trip for employees

    Cons

Executive management style is dictatorial - Any deviation or dissent from the Executive Suite’s “plans” from directors or managers is dealt with by dismissal from the company. Executives operate with a purge mentality when it comes to perceived dissent, which extends beyond the managers who are released to the staff that were their direct reports. For rank-and-file employees, there is no formal employee training or remediation...

    Advice to Management

Advice to management The company has a great mission – to improve mental health care outcomes and save money. Yet, ironically, the company does nothing to take care of its own employees and consider their mental health. First and foremost, the company needs a board of directors who can check and balance the dictatorial executive management. Ground level advice would be: • Institute formal training programs for...

I worked at Credible Behavioral Health Software full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

The mission for the company is admirable, at least on the surface. The real mission of the CEO is money for himself. Many employees are great people who do a great job while they are there. Benefits are good including the health insurance, gym reimbursement and snacks in Rockville. The annual trip is nice but there is little to no down time as you need to listen to CEO’s spout off about how great and humble he and the...

    Cons

Every decision, no matter how small, needs to go through the two top executives who have a very “unique” relationship as their almost matching (his and hers?) black sports cars indicates. Good luck trying to get some face-time with them as they sit in the ivory tower of a corner suite with the door locked and never interact with the front-line employees. Unless, of course, it is perceived you did something wrong such...

    Advice to Management

Replace the top two executives as they make the company dysfunctional with their management through fear. For potential employees - Think twice before jumping into the deep end as it is tough to swim in the pool. Proceed with caution especially if you need to interact at all with the two top executives. Also, be careful of any “legacy” employees which are the few that have been there over 3 years as they are protected...
