Teams are strong with great insight and knowledge in their industry. Benefits are good and so is pay (except for bonus in recent years.)

    Cons

Mgmt. consistently changes their views on how to approach things as well as Mgmt. changes quite often as well so leadership has been unsteady given the current state of the company.

    Unfortunate working environment

Sep 8, 2022 - Anonymous Employee in Raleigh, NC
    Recommend

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Fair compensation, opportunity for bonus although over 4 years has been small, decent 401k options

    Cons

For a company so concerned with getting their employees to come back to office, it is interesting to see a lack of management presence. There is no supervision over who has returned except from management, yet management seems to be completely remote, while the culture on campus grows more toxic and self-regulated by low level employees. Although internal mobility is encouraged, these issues plague the entire campus and there is little point to accepting the same treatment in a different occupation for the company. With the company always ending up in the news for issue after issue, combined with a plummeting reputation and stock price, you'd think that it would try harder to keep its remaining talent happy. The amount of experienced professionals who have left during my time is mind-boggling, but at least Credit Suisse helps the local job market stay flush with candidates for organizations that provide a decent work environment.

    What a mess

Nov 10, 2022 - AVP - Compliance in Raleigh, NC
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

The staff generally are friendly and CS attempts to have employee activities. Benefits are great

    Cons

Everything else. Management is extremely out of touch. This firm is spiraling downhill and upper management acts like firing people is a noble sacrifice on their part. I love my team and the actual healthcare and benefits are great. But… Never expect a bonus in compliance or many other groups at this firm. If you plan to accept a job negotiate HARD because raises are also a joke. Also hunker down for an endless stream of negative publicity. All problems are blamed on juniors however the executive board over the last few years looks like a target list where everyone has a big X over their name since they are no longer here.
