I have been working at Credit Suisse full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Love Raleigh and the way CS is expanding down here. Good benefits and beautiful new office. Strong internal mobility which is good considering there isn’t another foreign bank down in NC yet.

    Cons

I think the pay could be more competitive compared to Lenovo, Cisco etc.

I worked at Credit Suisse full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Profit sharing of about 8% profit sharing into 401k yearly is one of the stronger retirement plans.

    Cons

The company has no strategy on how to manage and deploy talent with transparency in deploying all positions to low-cost centers without clear strategy except that attrition results in position moving to low-cost centers. The office workspace is a joke -Credit Suisse is the only NYC based employer in the history of commercial real-estate to fall below the threshold of 100 square foot of office space per employee by basically...

I worked at Credit Suisse full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Office is fancy. Great work-life balance - Hours, WFH option - but negotiate this aspect once you get an offer, smart people. Latest Re-Org in the CRO division seems promising with (what appears) to be a smart/strong CRO.

    Cons

People are sneaky, people are not SMEs, there are continuous re-orgs, upper management turnover... the list goes on. The place is so disorganized and operating with a lean headcount, its very hard to execute under these circumstances. Also, no one is about doing the right thing. A lot of talent is leaving and you would be working with satisfactory individuals, which could get frustrating after a while. Promotion is difficult.

    Advice to Management

    None. Figure it out.

I worked at Credit Suisse full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great benefits. Excellent 401k ..Maternity leaves and work life balance.

    Cons

No carreer growth. No direction in Enterprise strategy.

    Advice to Management

North American teams are headed by VPs and the leadership next to them are non existent and next levels end up outside of the USA. This is leading to bad micromanagement which doesn't get known to leadership.
