I worked at Creme de la Creme full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The directors are amazing and truly care about their employees. They work very hard to make sure the parents are satisfied.

    Cons

    The health insurance could improve.

    Advice to Management

You're doing awesome! Make sure the employees that you know will be there for you are happy. 😊

I worked at Creme de la Creme full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay was great! My co-teachers made work fun to come to, but that’s about it. And it was a short drive to work.

    Cons

The directors were horrible. They do not care about your input or opinions of anything. Hours were not full time. Very stressful environment.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your teachers! Their say matters too.

    Pros

Facility in Glenview is nice and some teachers management sucks bunch promises to ur face but in reality they want to tell you go to hell

    Cons

Everything else sucks our kid cant write his own name at all because they have called him totally different from day one two years there, they don’t teach kids anything totally neglect them its like if you took your kid to park left him with rest of the kids and wrote a check for $1600 and walked away. For what Crem preaches they suck as a company that supposed to develop your child academically. I get it they are young but teach them essentials basic things

    Advice to Management

Do your damn job I’m sure you get paid well because i know i pay hefty monthly tuition and see nothing in my kid that comes from you guys

I have been working at Creme de la Creme full-time

    Pros

    The pay wasn’t that bad.

    Cons

Everyone is snobby and stuck up. My child attended there and they didn’t pay attention to him. The teachers yell at their kids. I do not recommend to anyone.

    Advice to Management

Awful. Snobby and rude. Treat the employees like they are supposed to bow down to you.

    Pros

Without a doubt, the best part of this job is the amazing group of teachers that make up the staff. They work hard and are wonderful caregivers for the children at the school.

    Cons

The teachers are not appreciated for their hard work. The children spend a lot of time in the care of these teachers. They feed them, potty train them, change their diapers, wipe their noses, put bandaids on their boo-boos, teach them to read and write, help them to manage friendships with peers, etc.. The work is hard and can seem thankless. I've seen parents be very condescending to teachers. :(

    Advice to Management

Your staff works very hard, make sure they feel appreciated. The days are long and tiring, kind words are appreciated. Also, encourage more of a team atmosphere. But mostly, let the teachers know you appreciate them.

I have been working at Creme de la Creme full-time

    Pros

Not as challenging as most day cares. You don't have to focus on decorating class bc it's already painted. Nothing goes on the walls or windows. You switch from room to room for different activities such as art, gym, Spanish, water park, and computer lab.

    Cons

Same old basic stuff with management but I must say they are very hands on compared to other managers

I have been working at Creme de la Creme full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay for the type of job.

    Cons

This is absolutely the worst preschool I have ever worked for, and I have worked at preschools for over 15 years.

    Advice to Management

There is absolutely no respect and no communication from management, if you try to complain to them or to corporate you are immediately fired, and you are told things that go against licensing and fired if written up by them. The advertise their special "creme ratio" which is BS and false advertisi g ( illegal, I believe), no curriculum is given and no time is given to do it (though they tell you there will be), and any training they give is incomplete and just expect you to figure it out. Pretty much every teacher I have talked to has either said they have found or are looking for another job. There are more complaints but I can't think of any at the moment. I am sure if they find this and figure out who posted it I will be fired but I needed to let someone know. I am honestly looking into informing licensing if I can. There are other preschools if that is your calling, RUN!!!!!!!

I worked at Creme de la Creme full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The great, inviting atmosphere for the children. I loved that they could move and learn in different rooms and not be "stuck" within 4 walls all day. The pay is good for the industry and I made a lot of lasting friendships there.

    Cons

Working with children all day every day is exhausting! It really takes a special person to work in this field.

    Advice to Management

It's unfortunate that some employees need to feel rewarded for doing their job, but I guess that's the unfortunate mindset with some people these days? Keep doing what you're doing and always look out for the best interest of the little people.
