    Pros

    There are some really smart people at the top of the organization. These folks set the tone for everyone else in the company.

    Cons

    There are two upper level home office people who stick out like a sore thumb because they're not as smart as they should be.

    Advice to Management

    Shake the tree a little bit and let the dead branch or two fall.

    Growing company, multiple brands, opportunities to make your mark, not rigid when it comes to processes.

    Cons

    Maintaining the culture while growing, transitioning hotels can have a hard time "blending" with new culture.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to focus on building a culture of collaboration. Look for opportunities to automate in order to free up time from managers to take care of guests and associates.

    Pros

    Crescent upper management cares about their Employees.

    Crescent is a good place to work, which shows in the number of long term employees.

    Crescent has very good health insurance plans, something that has been reduced by a lot of employers.

    I know several employees who have returned to Crescent after leaving for what they thought was a better opportunity.

    Cons

    Crescent always strives to be the best, which is hard work but gratifying.

    Pros

    Crescent gives us opportunity to grow. I have realized my goals and had support and feedback along the way to help me get where I am. They listen to their associates whether they are line level, General Manager's or corporate staff.

    Cons

    They are growing fast, you have to be ready for that!

    Pros

    There is no where else I would work. I plan to retire from Crescent. Dynamic Company who values my ideas, allows me to express myself and appreciates me. Crescent takes the time to engage with me both on a professional and personal level.. They care about what is happening and show appreciation through bonus and public appreciation.

    Cons

    None. My experience has been so positive that I would not change anything. I appreciate when something is not perfect in my department, I get a personal call and we discuss any problems and how we should move forward to bring about change or a positive result.

    Advice to Management

    Keep communication at this level. Love the weekly updates. Bi-weekly calls to keep everyone informed. Thankful that I have the tools to perform my job.

    Pros

    Crescent does everything in their power to take care of their associates. Every decision made takes into consideration the impact on the associates. They have done a fantastic job and managing to keep healthcare costs low and affordable for associates at a time when that can be difficult and they do a great job at recognizing good associates and giving them opportunities to grow.

    Cons

    The company is growing very quickly and they need to keep expanding their corporate structure to be able to better serve their properties. However, recently they have been adding quite a few individuals to their corporate structure to improve this area.

    Advice to Management

    Keep expanding corporate structure to be able to better serve your hotel properties. Otherwise just keep doing what you are doing.

    Continue to take great care of our team members. It is the team member who takes care of the guest and the guest takes care of the bottom line...this is Crescent current philosophy and will always be followed.
