    Pros

There are all your job development. They are about making you a better managers, and providing you with the tools to be successful. That are looking for future leaders.

    Cons

Because is a Management Company, if their contracts are not renewed you can loose your job when and it a new Management Company takes over.

I worked at Crescent Hotels & Resorts full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

For the previous years I worked for Crescent, it was a great company. CEO cared about everybody and everything happening in his company. Everybody worked together as a team and cared about helping each other

    Cons

Company has changed, and not sure it is going to get better. CEO has hired people at the top who do not believe in Crescent culture and only want to push their own motives. It is a toxic work environment where everybody is on edge because no one knows what these top executives are thinking or what senile move they will make next to advance their own motives. Everybody talks about everybody else, the environment is so ingenuine. I am glad to be leaving a company that was once so great but has changed very much, and I know many more people are planning to leave
People who care like the COO are trying to make changes to correct

    Advice to Management

Remember to hire people who are Crescent, it means something when all your long term veteran employees all want to leave

I have been working at Crescent Hotels & Resorts full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I've been with Crescent for almost a year and so far they've been excellent. They seem to really care about their employees and managers.

    Cons

Of course in the hotel business we would always appreciate a higher salary!

    Advice to Management

The managers and executives I've come in contact with have been helpful and seem to care about the hotels and the employees.

I worked at Crescent Hotels & Resorts part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great property, great potential. Opportunity for seasonal staff. Staff members enthusiastic until beaten down by management. Would not apply here again.

    Cons

Where to start? Was not told at interview/onboarding that I'd be unpaid on-call nor that the schedule (and days off) would change every week with as little as 12 hours notice for a schedule change.
Leadership was deaf to issues (even FLSA and OSHA violations).
Corporate culture seems to disrespect employees as well as guests/clients.

I have been working at Crescent Hotels & Resorts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Passionate leadership from the CEO, Exec Sales, property GMs and Front Desk Agents. The company is growing and adding hotels often.

    Cons

growth causes pain - but infrastructure is being beefed up to accommodate growth, email and reporting platforms, presentation templates etc.

    Advice to Management

Continue to hire from within and without - the mix of perspectives is what keeps the growth manageable and fun

    Pros

Great Salary and Incentive program (if you work hard) Sale team was great, losing a lot of them.

    Cons

Lots of turn over in the last six months. 4 GMs, changes, owners not put the money in to the hotel. Not the management company fault,

    Advice to Management

Mr. George continue to bring in great VP. I Hope to work for you again

    Pros

I see all these reviews saying "disapprove of CEO" have any of you met Michael George? He is the most engaged, humble and down to earth CEO there is out there. If you have not met this man, find out about him first before placing bogus reviews on glassdoor.

    Cons

Work/life balance can be tough sometimes, but i am allowed to take my vacation days when needed unlike other companies.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to your associates needs and wants and keep up the great work. I only wish Crescent the try best as they continue to smash our competitors.

I have been working at Crescent Hotels & Resorts full-time

    Pros

I've worked for many hotels and hotel companies before but this company is simply the best! Whether it's listening to associate feedback, building benefits packages, salary etc. the investment this company makes in its associates is truly wonderful. Crescent is simply the best hotel management company to work for by far.

    Cons

I don't have anything to share here.
